I think that’s exactly what Microsoft is hoping for since console hardware sells at a loss, it’s more profitable for them if you are using their services / subscriptions but they aren’t subsidizing your hardware.

Subscribers are worth a lot more $$$ than hardware units.

It will be soon - they already said they’re going to put Series X in Azure this year.

And your statements about DF being in the pocket of Microsoft are factual? Where's your proof. Oh wait... it's just you being a rabid fanboy.

Look for my reply to jznrpg above - I shared steps on how to do this in the states.

Works here in the states. You have to do the following:

1. First go login to Xbox.com
2. Then goto https://www.microsoft.com/e...
3. When the prompt appears, choose to stay in “Argentina - Spanish”. Make sure your browser URL still contains “es-ar”
4. Click the button that reads something like “Gratis con Xbox Live Gold”

Enjoy!

By that logic Sony, Nintendo and NVidia are all making gaming worse too.

@S2Killinit I dunno about you but I’m a fan of gaming/games, not consoles or companies.

I couldn’t care less what device I’m playing on as long as the games are good, prices are good and I can play where and when I want to.

How would adding a new, easy way to play, and play anywhere - be detrimental to gaming? That is just pure rabid fanboyism.

Seems like this will be the easiest way to play really. Better than installing an app.

Well there goes the infinity cache rumors/hype.

1833d ago 10 agree13 disagreeView comment

Why? Because they made a product we've been asking for since we first saw it was white and had removable sides? Right...

@Elda What do you actually think is going to happen if you put an 'un-affiliated' piece of plastic casing on instead of the inevitable $100+ Sony one? Will your PS5 spontaneously combust?

1833d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Sony are totally in the wrong here. Since when was making skins/cases for electronics patented / a reserved right for the manufacturer?

Competition is great for consumers and Sony have become increasingly anti-consumer since their success with the PS4.

Sony executive identified.

Dbrand are actually pretty well known for making good quality products and reviews of this product in particular have been popular.

Quit being a shill.

@kayoss That only applies when the failure rate is below a certain threshold.

If the failure rate is higher due to decisions made by the manufacturer - why should consumers pay the cost?

Not comparable to the gorilla glue case at all. She is stupid, this is consumers who bought a device they expected to function correctly and it doesn’t.

Couldn’t have summed it up better myself.

Exactly - if they were truly in Microsoft’s pocket they would not have ragged on it that hard - they would’ve found a way to avoid or spin it.

Will likely pick this up to have a portable version of Crash 4, but 30fps will be annoying for this game.

1834d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Didn't they rag on Xbox One all the time and talk about how superior PS4 was hardware-wise?

1834d ago 4 agree10 disagreeView comment

Both companies produce good things and bad things. Let's not pretend either are perfect or always product 90+ metacritics.
