Agreed. Most gamers have a custom build (either done themselves or by a custom builder) rather than OEM devices so id bet the number who have TPM’s is very low.
I can see them backtracking on it - there’s already some registry hacks out there to get the preview installing on “unsupported” devices and it works fine.
At the most it should be a warning/recommendation.
Some pretty good games in this sale!
They need to address the CPU requirements issue.
Early gen Ryzen or I5-7 CPU’s like the 6XXX series are still very capable gaming processors yet cannot run Windows 11? Give me a break.
Huh? The article history doesn’t show any title change?
Game Pass is great - they are correct there.
Xbox gets any positive news or review and it’s a propaganda campaign.
I do hope your tinfoil hat is helping keep out the 5G.
It sounds like you didn’t read the article.
The mods are nothing to do with Bethesda not fixing bugs. They add new content, new maps/worlds etc. PC modders have done that since the dawn of time, regardless of how often a game franchise is released/updated.
And quite frankly, Bethesda games are great, for playing stock and modding.
But I get it - Bethesda became the worst company ever after MS bought them.
@Thundercat77 Realistically, both platforms are “wait til 2023” though because most people don’t early adopt anyway, and we have a pandemic causing shortages too, meaning devs are going to keep making PS4 and XB1 games for another year or two.
But there’s nothing wrong with buying a console mid gen, it just means you get a ton of quality games available day 1.
I’m an early adopter though - got a PS5 and will be getting an XSX as soon as possible. Will buy...
Which part of my message was inaccurate?
And huh? Uncle Phil?
My 1-2 year statement was that we’ll start to see more “first party next gen exclusives” for both in 1-2 years, I wasn’t talking about Xbox only, because we barely have any for either next-gen platform today.
What they should’ve done here is offered PS5s to people who are active on PSN via PS4 (but not via PS5) and have an active PS+ subscription for 3+ months (paid, not trials).
It’s probably safe to assume they’re not scalpers and will actually make use of the PS5.
Complete garbage - Ghost is 10x better than Days Gone.
Black Mesa is clearly the best one on the list, that game is insanely good.
Not sure I would call it a mod though - it’s more so a standalone game using the source engine really.
Which is a good thing, no?
Mods should make a game better not worse, and mods are a key component of PC gaming so their games should support mods.
We don’t really have many first party next gen exclusives on either platform.
But that will change heavily in the next 1-2 years - as more games release & especially as devs start to leave behind PS4 & XB1.
The 5 people who still play this game will enjoy the new roadmap.
“No games” is an exaggeration since the number is > 0.
But there aren’t tons of next gen games, especially exclusives - I’ll give him that one.
Japan == Nintendo land.
Diablo, obviously.
I’m very surprised at Sony offering PS5s to people they KNOW already have one when there’s so many people struggling to get one.
I thought the plan with PS direct was to try and get PS5’s into the hands of PS4 owners/PS+ subscribers who didn’t have a PS5.
That being said, I managed to walk into GameStop and pick up a second one today, but I’m not scalping it - giving it to my cousin at MSRP. Also physical stores obviously don’t check if you already have o...
The year ahead is looking good for Xbox. Just need more consoles available, it’s still impossible to find a Series console and I’ll be pretty bummed out if I can’t play Starfield etc.
Oh and Psychonauts at 120hz.
@Chevalier Where did I say I agree with the entire article or that Xbox is selling great in Japan?
All I said was that GamePass is great, which it is.
So I guess the only misinformed idiot here is the guy who can’t read comments correctly ;)
