Halo Infinite MP isn’t a game pass game, nor does it require Xbox Live Gold.

I wouldn’t really call this a huge surprise given it’s the same company that ported the Android/iOS versions of San Andreas HD to console back in the 360/PS3 era.
That being said, console should obviously be the lead platform not mobile.

I’d say primarily due to less profit given that:
1. They have developer charges associated with cross play scenarios
2. They also refused cross play with Xbox and Nintendo until very recently. Xbox and Nintendo consoles are not full of cheaters nor are they open platforms like PC.
People are complaining on Twitter AND a PC game has cheaters - stop the press! 🛑

And yet none of what I wrote was incorrect. In the real world, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox consoles are flying off the shelves and people are struggling to get them.

Obviously not everyone, but given the numbers we’ve seen for Forza and the Series S selling the most on Black Friday, it’s safe to say a lot of people wanted them. Halo numbers are yet to be seen so we’ll have to wait on judging that one.

@dbcoops Halo and Forza are the biggest games this holiday, nothing else being released or which released recently really competes with them so I can see why people would want them.
For me, the S is somewhat appealing for its emulation capabilities. There’s a lot of old PS1, 2 and GameCube games ...

Sounds like a good position to be in - the only consoles in stock for Black Friday (and probably Christmas too) are the old Switch and Series S.
I was hoping to find a good discount on the DualSense this year given its now a year since launch, but nada.
Well this is something I didn't think I would read or watch today.
They obviously didn't know the pandemic was coming (insert Bill Gates conspiracy theory here), but with the pandemic, the idea to release the Series S looks to be a shrewd business decision.
@FlavorLav01 That's standard process for these services though. Netflix, Hulu, Paramount+ etc. used to give me awesome deals, and now I'm a fully paid member of god knows how many streaming services.
