I had no idea Shatter was considered that good. Anyone else have this title? Worth getting?
No sh*t it's a game. And Batman is just a comic book hero, but he doesn't fly without a plane. That would be stupid, now wouldn't it?
"Cole can now burn wooden objects using his electrical powers."
How does electricity burn wood? Wood is an insulator.
I loved Infamous, but some of the "electric powers" are a little perplexing.
Yes, fantastic! Vehicles, cloaking...fantastic.
Don't listen to him. "Children of Men" is a terrible movie.
A disagree? Haha, it says right in the review that the lag increased when a second player entered the Shoot.
The bigger problem was the lag when using two controllers in The Shoot. Hopefully that's a processor issue that can be ironed out with optimisation.
The article mentions Forza 3 as well. If it's mentionable enough in the article, it's mentionable enough in the comments.
@captain-obvious: The save file for Demon's Souls is locked and can't be copied. I had to get a new PS3, but can't copy my old game. :(
I was at 99% on the trophies.
what do you mean there should have been a pool hall a long time ago? Hasn't there been pool tables in the bowling alley from day one?
I'd be interested in a pool table if it's cheap. Wish Texas Hold 'em could be played in Red Dead multiplayer.
"Every Tom, Dick and Harry has an add supported app nowadays. It's just not enough to cover costs anymore"
Than drop the ad support. Problem solved.
TV shows are a waste of life anyway, IMHO. I won't digest any non-interactive entertainment that takes more than 4 hours of my life from start to finish.
Then again, maybe I'm deluding myself since I have no problem watching all 26 Zatoichi films that Hulu is streaming right now. I suppose they're all interchangeable, just like tv. *shrug*
Not only is it $10 per month, but it's ad supported. Deal or no deal? No deal.
I played GOW1 and 2 and Shadow of the Colossus on my launch PS3....and if Sony is telling me SOC will be remastered with a solid frame rate, at 60 Hz ta boot, I would say buying the remastered disc will be money well spent.
Don't forget, the frame rate was juiced on God of War, too.
excited for this.
Reviewers are under time pressures. They sail through the story to complete the game and test out all the mechanics. I imagine it'd be hard to take a subtle approach to the experience, riding the range for hours on end to decide how immersed the experience feels.
That said, I think the article is a little hyperbolic. I liked the Mexican stereotypes because they reminded me so much of Mapache and his officers in the "Wild Bunch", a movie I love.
hehe, but a guy as mercurial as him can go from loving something to hating something in no time, I'm sure.
I posted this before, but nobody answered. I ask, because I'd genuinely be interested in seeing a melding of Kinect and a controller. Might sell me an Xbox.
"Can anyone state whether the Kinect requires dedicated memory and clock cycles?
Wouldn't that reduce the resources available to produce something like Gears of War using a regular controller + Kinect motion control?
Just asking...if it doesn't effect the resources al...
I've been thinking of camera control because of your Demon's Souls avatar. It'd be great to have a shield and sword emulator, but without an analog stick on every move, you're stuck with a sword, no shield, and possible only the movement stick.
SOCOM uses the reticle moving toward the screen edge to move the camera, but we don't hold a sword that way in DS. I know not every game needs to work with Move, but I'd like to be able to act out a game like...
Move controller jumped up to #20 and the bundle up to #25 on Amazon video game bestsellers. That may not sound amazing, but it was well past #50 most of the last few weeks, and often times not in the top 100.
