Cool?
Like 75% of this video is just people talking about how much detail they wanted in the game. Seriously, it's just repeating the same thing over and over again.
Some nice behind the scenes shots here and there but we get it, you wanted to make a detailed game. Cool. Tell me about this 50 more times please.
Pretty sensationalist stuff here.
@KyRo
It has nothing to do with opinion but people just being butt hurt. What is there to disagree with about wanting more graphical features in a game? I mean, for real.
I'll tell you what it is, it's because I mentioned the PC on this site. Instant hate. It's sad.
Don't know why someone would disagree with you. I don't see how, in any way, that would be a bad thing.
Hell, I'd love to see it just for the graphics! Want to see what they could do with GTA 4 on the Vita...probably not much though.
How the flying hell are people disagreeing with me? Man, people here are soooooooo salty towards PC gamers its disturbing.
"OMG HE'S TALKING ABOUT GRAPHICS BETTER THAN OUR SHITTY CONSOLES! DOWNVOTE!"
I'm bout ready to stop commenting on this biased ass site.
Sorry that I mentioned things that I can have the possibility of doing on PC that your limited consoles aren't capable of.
While I understand that console generations are generally further apart this really isn't the case here. The PS4.5, as rumored and assumed by many, will simply be a PS4 with updated hardware. Nothing new, not games exclusive to it, just a high-end choice for a high-end cost for those that want a higher-end experience that don't want to move too, or pay for, the PC.
Since the newer consoles are basically off the shelf x86 parts with standard GPU architectures I think...
I wish they'd enable some fancier effects for the PC version. It's clear the engine can handle it as we've seen so it would be nice to be able to use them.
For me it has to do with power. I guess "technically" you could consider it the first next-gen system but I only hold that "next-gen" part in lieu of it being the next generational console. Not next-gen in the traditional "graphics have dramatically improved" next-gen meaning.
Plus the fact that it came out a good time before the PS4 and X1 does put it at that awkward half-way point.
As I said, on a technical level, it is really ...
@kraenk12
lol...no.
Being immature is saying you need a $700 GPU to push 4K. Also, CPU power doesn't matter that much either when you're still pushing PS4 levels of A.I. and physics. RAM can be upgraded from the PS4's level in speed very cheaply and can still retain 8GB for 4K (giving that 4-6GB can be used for games).
So, no, my maturity is fine. It's all the hate and irrational uneducated comments here that need to be put i...
No, that's not rational. There would not need to be a lot of extra work done. No more really then what is done on the PC side of things. Adjust resolution some, allow the higher quality assets that already exist (like uncompressed textures) and other slight changes and...bam...PS4.5 version. Sure some optimization will be done but it would hardly be some massive undertaking requiring months of work or anything. Depending on how the PS4.5's hardware scales in comparison with the PS4...
Yes and no. I think that they definitely were with the NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, and Wii but the Wii U is what's really changed their position. Coming in at the end of last-gen it put it in this weird mid-gen limbo.
I think it's not part of the console war now just because it, technically, can't be. With hardware that's undoubtedly unable to handle the newer generation of games, in that it's simply not fast enough nor compatible with newer engines API supp...
Not true at all. Even a GPU along the lines of the 290/290X would be able to push 4K games no problem when you factor in the changes that could be made to them (like the current consoles GPU's) and the fact that they'll be more optimized on the software front. I have no problem playing any game at 4K on my single 290X.
So, no, I'd say for about $500 (the same price as the 1080p only PSVR, mind you) they could easily make a 4K compatible version of the PS4.
Perhaps, but at the end of the day you still got the same game. I mean, of course one should expect to not be the latest and greatest when more powerful hardware comes out. So that's why I don't understand all the hate. Nothing will change for PS4 owners as they'll still receive the same thing they're already getting and would get even if the PS4.5 never existed.
Seems like a whole lot of butt hurt and crying over nothing.
So what exactly is the problem with a PS4.5/PS4K? FOR REAL I WANT TO KNOW! So far all I've seen is people saying it's bullshit and they don't like it. As if that's some compelling argument! WHY IS IT A BAD THING??? How does it affect you? Please, explain this to me because I'm having a hard time seeing what the problem here is.
I don't really get what the big deal is or why people are upset. You paid for the PS4. You knew and still know what to expec...
You know, I understand the game has some advanced stuff going on and all that but goddamn. It's 2016. These are the newest consoles. I don't care if you're a fanboy or not...720p is ridiculous. 1080p is already showing it's age.
Something about this just makes me feel sad. I mean, really, 720p? Really?
Yes it is. The game itself is 720p with only thinks like the UI elements being 1080p.
The game is rendered at 720p. 720p. Not 1080p.
@2pacalypsenow
What do you have as a CPU? A Core2Duo? 2GB of RAM? If my 290X can do 4K just fine then you shouldn't be having a problem unless the rest of you PC isn't up to spec. Metro 2033...please...
And again, you are confusing a PC with a console. When you're talking an enclosed system you don't need as much power as a PC to push the same graphics.
Learn a thing or two about how hardware works before saying anymore.
My single 290X has no problem pushing 30fps+ at 4K. A 980Ti should fare far better.
4K isn't some impossible thing to do. The Division is the first game I've played that I've hard to turn some (albeit unnoticeable) settings down to get ~30fps average.
Other than that I haven't an issue with any other games.
@2pacalypsenow
"The fact that not even a 600$ GPU can render games well enough at even 30fps on PC"
BULLSHIT.
That alone tells me you have NO idea what the hell you're talking about. My THREE YEAR OLD 290X has no problem holding 30fps+ in, literally, every game out there at 4K. Even The Division. How do I know? Because I'm running a 4K monitor with a single 290X. Right now, playing The Division.
And that'...
Oh yeah, that's an appropriate response LOL! Explain to me how I'm supposed to know the video is shit without watching it genius? Grow up!
