Goddamn I wish people would get off the Watch Dogs dick when it comes to downgrading. It's been PROVEN that the game simply had a couple effects disabled. Unlike games like The Division or The Witcher 3, Watch Dogs actually kept a lot of the same assets like textures, models, props, etc.
Minus some fog/smoke effects and some light bulbs being 3D models instead of sprites Watch Dogs wasn't THAT downgraded. OMG it's missing some extreme depth of field that actually ...
Is it "good" for gaming? So far Mad Max and Just Cause 3 have given me major issues vs. Windows 7 and GTA 4 is a stuttering mess on Windows 10, a problem I didn't have in Windows 7.
Honestly, it hasn't been that good for me so far. Especially how convoluted it is. Going to Safe Mode for example used to take hitting the F8 and you're done. Now you have to go through 8 different menus to load into Safe Mode...wtf?
Yeah, Windows 10 has some...
I wish that cop A.I. and the physics were the same as they are in GTA 4.
GTA 5 makes it too difficult to rampage. You could hold the cops off and drag them along for a bit in GTA 4 but GTA 5? Shit, you die 20 seconds into it after you get headshot but a pistol welding cop 2 blocks away. They're TOO good. This may be fine for other games but not GTA.
Secondly is physics. Especially NPC interactions and car damage. The Euphoric engine is way too dumbed do...
I don't really get what the big deal is? What is 25 minute long live action scenes going to do that 10 minute CGI or in-game cutscenes can't do?
Especially when the episodes are built in. I could get maybe a game where a new chapter unlocks per TV episode or something like that but all they did here really was just replace game cutscene with live cutscene. I don't see the point of that really.
So yeah, certainly something different in this day and...
Conspiracy much?
I can watch all the videos and read all the reviews available. Me playing the game isn't going to change the length of the game. It's not going to make the gun play better. It's not going to make the A.I. better. It's not going to make the platforming or controls more precise. It's not going to make the cutscenes less cheesy and B quality.
So yeah, it's clear the game isn't some bastion of quality and innovation.
I guess a lot of...
The problem here is that you are failing to actually give a reason why it's a bad thing other than it hurts your feelings.
WHY is this ACTUALLY bad? Since when is consumers having a choice a bad thing? If it comes out and all it does is improve graphics then what's so horrible? If the PS4 still gets the same games then NOTHING HAS CHANGED FOR YOU!
People like you are the problem with this thing. Those of you that get all upset despite the fact that yo...
STFU and quit crying you baby. Is that clear enough for you?
NO IT WOULDN'T BE!!!
Dammit! You paid for the PS4, you got what you paid for. The release of a PS4K is simply the difference between an iPhone 6 vs. 6s. Both still do the SAME THING. Same apps, same games, same experiences all around, one if just a little faster than the other.
It's not unfair at all. Quit crying and being so dumb and illogical about this.
Or you could just open the controller and unplug them?
@vinniects
Based on reviews this appears to be the case over all. Gun play looks very generic (you can't even shoot from cover) and thinks like the platforming parts slow the game down.
Not saying it's a bad game but based on what I've seen game play wise Quantum looks rather boring and generic.
Well for me the only thing that I could really ask for of the Division in the future is an actual reason to explore. I thought, based on what I knew and saw before launch, that The Division would almost be like The Witcher 3 or Fallout in which you would be rewarded with side quests and great loot if you explored the city. You know, just wondering around, see some open door or passage, go check it out, and end up being dragged into some 2 hour quest.
Instead what we got were ...
So have games not been good until now? I seem to have had plenty of good times every year I've been gaming for the past 25 years.
GRAW wasn't bad. See, with me the story is never really the main focus. I've always played Clancy games for their game play, tactics, weapon handling, squad/team work, etc.
So for me GRAW wasn't that strong story wise, but really, what Clancy game is? It's generally some terrorist doing terrorist things.
So to me GRAW was pretty good. Also, if you haven't already, the games are different on PC and consoles. GRAW on consoles was a third p...
Well the problem with that is that $499 is a lot of money. Probably wouldn't have sold as well.
As for the hardware neither company was willing to take a loss this time around so the price for which they sold is what it cost to make them, or very near to it.
As far as HAVING to get another one, that's simply a personal choice. If the PS4K is in fact a upgraded PS4, Sony isn't forcing anyone to upgrade. Based on the rumors all will get the same g...
I can see the franchise going two ways. Either they continue updating and expanding the New York map with other areas or they go to a different city.
Definitely going to be interesting to see where it goes. I like the game. Map is nice, game play is solid, I just wish there was more to DO. After playing the single player aspect all that's really left are challenges which are lame (why do I want to play the same missions over again?) or the Dark Zone which is literally ju...
Future Soldier was pretty damn good. Not as technical but still a blast!
35 hours with most games these days is a pretty big deal. The fact you got that much out of it seems decent (Quantum Break is 8 hours with no multiplayer, little replay value and is also $60 in comparison...and it's not even as fun).
Myself I played it hard core and beat the campaign over a week. Now I just go back here and there, don't burn myself out on it. Have something like 51 hours into it and still enjoying it in little 2-3 hour spurts.
You say this like it's OK or a good thing...
We're talking DOWNGRADES. Not amount of content.
I knew someone would fly in to the Witcher 3's rescue all while ignoring the massive downgrades that occurred. Typical really. Blinded by fanboism despite the fact the game took a dramatic turn.
