I agree. Especially chromatic aberration. That's the result of shitty camera lenses. Why do I want my games to look like they were filmed with crap 1960's cameras? Makes absolutely no sense. I mean, some retro themed game, sure, but a next-gen futuristic sci-fi? What the hell???
Even GTA 5 has the shit and it looks a LOT better with it modded out.
Oh well that makes sense. Clearly people who are playing a non-multiplayer game offline pirated it.
There are so many sarcastic points in my sentence it's insane.
This is the second time I've seen you use "Critically Acclaimed" and I'm still convinced you don't know what that means.
I like stuff like this in games when used properly. Game still has its main storyline nicely spelled out but stuff like this fleshes it out.
Kind of like the relics in Mad Max. Painted a nice pre-apocolyptic view of the world.
Eh, user scores are lower than critic scores on average...something I rarely see. So I wouldn't quite claim that it's critically acclaimed. It really seems to be middle of the road.
Edit: Apparently most of you don't know what "critically acclaimed" means. Having a 78 on Metacritic is not acclaimed. Having 90+ would be critically acclaimed since the game would be more or less loved by all. That isn't the case, at all. Quantum Break is a pretty medio...
I'm glad that you think it worked.
Apparently 4 people think this game looks great for a next-gen Star Fox game. Welcome to 2008!
Now, I'll be the first to admit that I am in fact a graphics whore, but even having said that am I not the only one disappointed a little with how the game looks? It's not horrible but it almost looks like a Wii or GameCube game. I mean, they don't even have grass on the ground outside of a flat 2D texture.
I know the Wii U isn't some bastion of GPU nuclear power but I guess I was just expecting...more?
That's a good way to make money...
Says "thexmanone". I'm sure your opinions aren't at all bias...
Oh come on people, lighten up. Was just a joke. Sorry I upset your feelings over a freakin computer.
Obviously, still doesn't change the fact that games are downgraded.
Don't they need a 1080p Xbox One first?
SLAM! :-p
Which will never happen. Final details, to me, are videos of people playing the final game on video streaming sites like YouTube. Once I can actually see the FINAL game then I'll judge. Otherwise I've learned my lesson plenty of times by now.
I'll agree with only having one character but I don't want them to redo some location that's already been done. Time for something new. We've had enough rehashes. Plus considering Vice City would be a Miami type location I don't think it would be different enough from Los Santos to make it worth it. Same-ish beaches and city but no sense for their to be mountains or forest areas.
Yeah, I highly doubt Vice City will be used and I think that's a good th...
Or they just didn't care for the game at all. It happens. Everyone said Bioshock Infinite was the greatest game ever made. I thought it was boring and repetitive and didn't score it that well at all. Is my personal opinion some internal clickbait for my brain? Please. Not everyone is going to like this game and even the ones giving the game 9's and 10's out of 10 talk about the gun play being mediocre and other areas of the game being lacking despite the perfect scores.
Hey bro, reviews are peoples opinions. Just because others like it doesn't matter. If the reviewer here thought the game play was lame (which they're hardly the first to think this) and that the story and TV TV TV episodes were cheesy then they're free to believe that.
Why is a 4/10 some impossible rating?
Yeah but it's not just Ubisoft doing it though. Everyone is. Even the beloved CDPR was #2 on the list due to the massive changes they made (and continued to make basically right up to release). Go look at the 2013 reveal trailer vs. what we got. While the game still looks great there's no doubt it underwent so DRASTIC changes in nearly every way.
So no, doesn't matter the developer or publisher, every game shouldn't be believed until we have the actual finishe...
Bullshit. Just because the Witcher 3 was a better game doesn't mean that it just get's some free pass.
In case you forgot, we're talking TOP GRAPHICS DOWNGRADE. Not "Because I liked the game other games that weren't as downgraded are somehow magically more downgraded".
Talking purely graphics The Witcher 3 received a MAJOR downgrade compared to Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs simply had a few post processing effects disabled (which if enable...
What innovative things? What replay-ability? Even good reviews say it's pretty much a one trick pony.
