How do you know that though? Why would Sony, reportedly, go around and talk to developers about this if all it's going to do is enable 4K video. Why would developers need to know this? It's not going to make a difference.
You don't know fanboys then. I don't think the game looks that amazing to begin with but I wouldn't dare say that out loud around these parts...
Knowing how games are recently and not knowing exactly how they're doing the smoke I'd be very interested to see how that looks in the FINAL game.
That's one of those effects that genuinely looks too good to be true.
WARNING!
Do NOT do this glitch if you don't want to ruin potential (VERY potential) future DLC locations. I say this because, as I go into detail below, the areas beyond the game map are, in my opinion, wayyy too detailed to simply be background art. So there's something definitely to these areas. Too much is done that is COMPLETELY out of sight of anywhere you can see from the game map that should and would have no reason to be here. Complete city blocks for no re...
I wholeheartedly disagree. I've put over 60 hours into the game at this point and other than some server issues the first couple days or so I've had hardly any issues. I don't know where you're getting that it's a "buggy mess".
I think this has certainly opened the door for more games like this. There is always that first one to do it and then people that follow.
Makes me excited...I have no doubt Hello Games have done an excellent job but there's always someone that does it better and it's that game I can't wait for.
I know the likes of Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen are approaching something similar but it's still too unclear about what their actual finished pro...
Jesus Goddamn Christ I wish they'd drop this damn cassette tape bullshit! For me, it completely ruined MGS5. Yeah, let's take this whole story that would normally take place with interesting and invigorating cutscenes and indepth personal CODEC calls and just throw that the fuck out the window, because what MGS fan enjoyed those? It's not like we've been doing it successfully for the past 4+ games in the series! No, what we need to do is replace it all with these tapes! Yeah, ...
Who is Lunk? Is he the cousin of Lung?
Yeah but but but...what if Zelda is a lesbian though? You have to cater to everyone remember?
But you guys! It needs to always be online because of the massive multiplay...oh wait...
Why does this game have to always be online again? Oh that's right, piracy. Because without always online the game would be ruined otherwise.
All you pro-DRM nitwits...this is what you get. Hope you're happy! Nothing better than losing hours of progress at the drop of a hat!
Yeah, I enjoy DriveClub...don't play it that much as I don't own a PS4 haha but what I've played I had fun (especially lately since all the updates).
Assetto I have but haven't really played much. It was wayyy too rough around the edges when I first got it but I know it's gotten better.
LOL! I just want this because of the ridiculousness of it. Don't see why they just don't make this a straight up hentai game and get it over with!
Too bad the game itself is stale as hell. There's literally like 50 people online at any given time and the game itself lacks any sort of progression or motivation to actually play.
Having just bought it a couple weeks ago I'm already bored out of my mind with it. Seriously has to be the most dead and soulless racing game I've ever come across.
Exactly! Look at this little flying machine with a light attached to it! Yeah, because the already powered and versatile 5.0 just couldn't not do that. Depth of field? Nope! Character models? Nope! Colored textures? What do you think this is? Unreal Engine 1? Get outta here! Only 5.4 can do colors.
My main problem with stuff like this is future game availability. Let's say for a moment that Denuvo never get's cracked. What happens to future PC retro gaming when the game you want is no longer offered anywhere and you can't download a pirated copy? There are a few PC games I own now (physical copies) that no longer have activation servers so the only way to play was to pirate (I'm not paying twice for a game from some online service when I already own it).
Well this is wildly misleading like CRAZY! So you telling me that 5.0 couldn't have a dynamic light source? Couldn't have colors?
I mean, Jesus Christ, this is freakin horrible.
The hell are you talking about? Where was I critical about this game? I was critical about the graphical downgrade but other than that I had no complaints about the actual game.
If you going to make statements like that you should probably make sure you're talking to the right person first.
You have to keep in mind though that the game hasn't even been out for two weeks yet and this guy has nearly a weeks worth of play.
Most games, if not all, could be maxed out and finished if all you did was play it nearly 24/7.
However, for a majority of people that don't literally play all day...and I mean ALL day...the Division still has plenty of playing power left. Certainly enough to last until more content comes out.
You can...
Having only paid $30 for the game I feel that I've gotten my moneys worth at this point. 42 hours in, level 30 SP and DZ, pretty good story (especially if you pay attention to all the intel and phones, echos, etc), nice game play and graphics.
Yeah, The Division wasn't really at all what I envisioned it to be (larger more diverse world, exploration that actually mattered and made a difference with random quests and story arches) but at the end of the day I'm satis...
@onyoursistersback
That's not a good analogy and doesn't really compare to what's going on here. The rumor is that they're developing a better console...not one that JUST plays 4K Blu-rays.
Again, this wouldn't have any effect or changes to developers so why would Sony spent time and effort doing it. Developers don't need to know this a head of time.
So, no, I don't think it'll just be 4K Blu-ray support added....
