They have multiple studios and have NEVER had an issue with making more than one game in the past soooo...yeah....what you say makes no sense unfortunately.

All I see is what looks like a bunch of paid for models and assets and animations being thrown together loosely in some type of game form that still feels basic and dead.

Sure it's easy to make predetermined scenes but stuff like the horse movement, the way the helicopter moved...all very "cheap" feeling...

I know it's one guy and all but that's the issue. GTA 5 took hundreds years to make...It's not me bashing this game, just b...

Man, I sure do wish that after six years GTA 5 would reveal a new GTA...wouldn't that be something to actually be excited about?

I agree with the Intel and Nvidia come first mentality.

However, on AMD's GPU side you can't discount the R9 200 series in the slightest. Definitely a worthy HD 7xxx series successor.

I agree. I see the sharp decline for AMD on the CPU and GPU side right when about PUBG came out. Like you said, probably a TON of Chinese and other Asian players. Intel and Nvidia are normally faster than AMD's offerings anyways for the price (especially CPU) so that helps. Cryptomining has AMD GPU prices sky high right now for gaming as well.

So yeah, I don't think this reflects AMD's current popularity...there's just MORE Intel/Nvidia users than there was ...

You should maybe look into upgrading that 4790K. Looking at benchmarks recently as a buddy was building a new PC and the 4790K has, surprisingly, fell quite behind the times, especially it's performance with a 1080Ti.

I'm actually quite surprised by this. Considering the RX 480/580 and Vega GPU's and the Ryzen CPU's I would have expected AMD to be more popular now.

Interesting to see the Vive and Rift so neck in neck.

I don't understand WHY Microsoft/Xbox fans are even fans anymore. I was and I feel completely and utterly betrayed. How do you not? At this point I'm seriously just done with Microsoft's crap show. It's not even about Sony vs. Microsoft or Nintendo vs. Microsoft...it's about what Microsoft themselves are doing.

Microsoft and Xbox hasn't failed this generation due to the Playstation being faster. Xbox didn't fail due to the Switch being portable. ...

Basically, I don't see how MS isn't losing money on the Xbox brand. I see it more at this point as a "we have to keep this going whether we make money or not" just because to let go of the Xbox brand is admission to complete and utter failure on their part.

Just sucks because this is all due to them making the incorrect and odd choices they make. Xbox One is selling poorly due to Sony having better exclusives and mentality towards gamers? Let's go buy...

I remember when Cloud Power™ was suppose to be their answer. SIX times the X1's TOTAL power thanks for the Cloud! Instead, we get a upgraded mid-gen console release 3 years later, no Cloud Power™, and more broken promises.

Good job Microsoft! Keep doing what the gamers want, clearly. I mean, it's not like Sony's exclusives are amazing and you guys aren't doing any yourselves...but man we need that better console! Because it was clearly the X1's lack in p...

"and I don't want to add to a problem that is already hurting some publishers/developers."

Who? There's yet to be a single proven source showing that piracy hurts anything.

2971d ago 2 agree11 disagreeView comment

Nothing about this will be good. The problem is that it IS being made by one person. One artist, one director, one designer...the same person.

Even this "environment" looked maybe half a step above generic. The problem with indie titles like this is their own scope and size and promises. This game won't deliver on 95% of what it wants and considering what type of game it is this thing will be BLASTED. The more complex and pretty and large an indie game is the ...

Yeah but if it's not even worth that why still pay? This is why these companies get away with this stuff is because of the "meh" people LIKE YOU. Quit being OK just giving money away because "it's not that much!"...who cares how much it is?

Pre-alpha STILL? So that means we have another 2 years at least. Goddamn.

Or is it corporate greed considering there's been NO studies shown that pirates hurt any industry. In fact all the ones I've seen show pirates buy more if anything.

Blame this on these publishers that shove shit down legit buying customers throats. Pirates don't deal with this shit. Is it a pirates fault Denuvo breaks games?

2979d ago 10 agree2 disagreeView comment

Not surprising. I find it interesting these games still use Denuvo considering they've been cracked and their age (minus Shadow of War).

With the addition of VR support in the last update I'm even more excited for this.

Oh man, you should try a setup like mine. Project Cars 2 with the Oculus and my Fanatec racing setup is, I'd say, about 60% of a real car. There's a LOT missing obviously but you wanna talk immersive? Dang. Nothing like it. Especially when I recenter and adjust the virtual cars seat to match my real world one. Having the virtual wheel and hands/arms match my own makes it 10x even more deep.

Yeah, VR is here to stay, I'm convinced of that. It'll only get chea...

Who disagrees and on what parts? The games are overpriced...Fallout 4 VR is freakin $60. They're charging FULL PRICE for a game that's been out, they've made their money back, put minimal effort into the VR implementation and want $60 like it's a new game they just developed.

That's overpriced. Same with the other Bethesda VR titles.

They're underwhelming because of their low VR standards. You can't interact freely with objects...

Would help if the games weren't overpriced, underwhelming, lacking support and VR options, etc.
