It's weird how a game can be so unforgiving and frustrating...yet it has that "just one more time" element.
Consider yourself lucky. People in my circle are competing and boasting about their high scores.
If there is anyone who can come up with a unique way to use the gamepad, it's Miyamoto. However, it's disheartening to read that Nintendo's 2 big upcoming games, Donkey Kong and Mario Kart, either have pitiful or no gamepad implementation.
My guess? It was a design choice. I'm wondering if someone can fix the gunplay to work in first person.
Bad management. But many people have so many wonderful memories of 1up. For me, it was the myriad of podcasting personalities.
R.I.P, 1up.com. The website that introduced me to the wonderful world of podcasting.
God bless those with the wherewithal and time on their hands.
Nintendo isn't close to dying, but the WiiU is struggling. They got money in the bank, but what are they going to do with it?
Call it a next gen exclamation point over the enemies head.

True, but it's not like 3rd party developers didn't even try. You saw it with the Wii and WiiU. Multiplatform games, multiplatform games with controls unique to the Wii or WiiU, 3rd party exclusives...the numbers don't justify 3rd party developers making games for Nintendo's platform. You could break down Nintendo console owners into two groups: the hardcore who love Nintendo 1st party games and the casual crowd who buy Wii Fit and Mario.

As opposed to dying and restarting from a checkpoint?
The hockey analogy I've used in another discussion still rings true: Instead of anticipating where the puck will be and moving there, Nintendo seems intent on dictating where the puck will go.
And his flying luckdragon. Plus, the Bastian/Atreyu relationship could be a new take on the animus.
I read the title and thought Ubisoft was making Bastian and Atreyu the next pair of Assassins.
Both new consoles are going through the post launch lull. It happens with every console. You have a bevy of launch games and then the wait for the next great game. They are coming. You have Second Son for the ps4 and Titanfall for the Xbox One.
I would agree with you on Sony trying to sell more peripheral hardware if they had locked Playstation Now to only Sony hardware, but it'll work on any device. So they aren't pushing Sony TVs, tablets, PCs and smartphones, ...
@Jay70sgamer: The ps4 and Xbox One are on target to outsell the WiiU. Donkey Kong will sell, but more than Mario? I doubt it. Xbox One and ps4 console sales have slowed down a bit because of supply problems and lack of compelling software, but that will change soon. What is troubling is two consoles a hundred and two hundred dollars more expensive than the WiiU are on the verge of outpacing it. Nintendo needs a price drop.
While, you no doubt, love your console, Nintendo has cle...
Funky Town_TX: Not all of them were.
And to think I used to complain about Battlefield 3's patch sizes.
I would agree with him...if publishers hadn't already been putting games less than 2 years old on Playstation Plus.
It's Pachter's opinion and he's entitled to it. Just as everyone is entitled to disagree with him.
