You...like to spend more money? (confused)

The first game is my favorite of the recent games. Hate that this half assed remake is just a way for Ubisoft to say, "See? No one is interested in this series anymore."

Fester's Quest didn't have any particularly difficult areas compared to other games. The Battletoads jet ski level, TMNT water level and Batman pipe jumping sequences were some of the most hair pulling, rage inducing gaming moments of my childhood.

I do miss the old feeling of games 1 - VI and IX. Dunno...maybe we're just antiquated.

@Hakuoro: You haven't heard about the GoT review bombing? There are a bunch of accounts that were made that only had 2 reviews. They gave TLoU 2 a 10/10 and GoT a 0/10.

@TheKingKratos: "Tbh i only follow youtubers like dunkview and few more who don't care about views and only about what they really think."

That's fine, but how does one differentiate from someone who doesn't care about views and one who does?

@DrDeath: You've focused on the one youtuber that you vehemently dislike. But, what about the others? The ones who have given constructive reasons to not liking the story?

Negativity sells? Sure, if you are targeting the larger audience who agrees with you. Again, what good does it do to your brand, in the business sense, to lose subscribers and viewers to go against the grain...unless you really mean and feel what you are saying.

@outsider1624: It's his opinion and that's fine with me. That's my whole point. There are people who love it and those that don't. To paint everyone who doesn't consider it a 10/10 with the broad stroke of hater, bigot, incel, xbot, anti-leftist, etc. is counter-productive because it shuts down any conversation.

@DrDeath: If they are in the minority (as is the narrative), then why would they pander to the smaller crowd to get views? That doesn't make sense. They would say they loved the game in order to get views/clicks from the bigger demographic. If it's a business decision, like you are insinuating, it is a bad one.

So Pewdiepie, Jeremy Jahns, Angry Joe, MoistCr1tikal, Tyler1, xQcOW, CohhCarnage, Upper Echelon Gaming, Jim Sterling, 39daph, LegacyKillaHD, FextraLife, DreamcastGuy all played and finished the game and had issues with it (The list is actually longer). Does that make them incels, right wingers or Xbots?

Can't tell if sarcasm or a bad analogy.

I wouldn't mind seeing Chief floating in space and then hearing this song start up.

I hate articles like this getting posted here. All they do is bring out the "My side is better than your side" squabble.

Oh, for fuck's sake...

Visually stunning. Animations are fluid. I loved running through environment and just watching Ellie's hands quickly pick up and stow items. Combat is an improvement over the first game, but won't win over anyone who didn't like it in the first game. I like the addition of the workbench.

I've already addressed my problems with the story and I did not like the ending.

In a nutshell: Yes.

@SoulWarrior: Never denied that there is a crowd with an agenda to hate it. I just don't like that those of us, who give valid reasons for not liking the story, are lumped in with those people.

Yes. If you remember, it's a reason why the PSP Go failed.

"The death of the PSPgo highlights the problems faced by hardware manufacturers in their relationship with retail," he said. "Sony needs retailers to sell its hardware; it also knows that the future of software is downloadable. In a world of downloa...

Subverting expectation can be a good thing, if it is written well. If it isn't, like Metal Gear Solid 2, the last 3 Star Wars films and the last season of Game of Thrones, it will do nothing but anger a lot of the fans of the first game.

Like I said in another comment, it's Naughty Dog's story to tell and they have a right to tell the story the want. However, there will be a backlash from fans who are invested in the characters of the first game and don't li...

That's not the whole story. There are trolls who are review bombing it, but there are also people, like me, who played it through and don't like the direction the story took. Is it a 0/10? No. Far from it. But not everyone who disagrees with the 10/10 is an Xbot or Get Woke/Go Broke crowd.
