I am interested to when they start putting the ps5 through backwards compat speed tests.
@Sitdown: I know.
Actually a lot of interesting info in the article. Dude is just commenting on the headline MARQUINO chose. It's not the one on the actual article.
What?
@enkiduxiv: You make it sound like CD Projekt Red/From Software are out there shopping themselves to publishers. Zenimax/Bethesda stated that they went through with this deal with MS because it makes sense for them.
@East76lands: Don't know yet. But they said the 1440p gameplay did not have ray tracing.
Color me...not interested.
@RazzerRedux: It says up to 4.8 gb. Doesn't match the 5.5 the ps5 ssd needs.
Great. Now I want an egg sandwich.
I remember when Phil said they still had a few surprises left. We all thought that was just EA Play going to Game Pass. Wasn't expecting this.
Which kinda means Bethesda took Sony's money for exclusivity for these two games while negotiating with MS for acquisition.
My guess: Flagship ip will remain multiplat while smaller titles will follow the "case by case" basis.
When Zenimax bought id, people were speculating about merging Bethesda's storytelling/gameplay with id's engine. We haven't gotten that yet, but we'll see in this generation.
@LucasRuinedChildhood: You know how bonkers this deal is? It cost more than the entire Sony Playstation division made in 2019. That's just insane.
Color me flabbergasted.
What consoles is he talking about?
It's not the demand. Everything sold out. It's the supply.
Check Cheapy D on twitter. His numbers show that the digital version accounts for 2% of total pre-orders. Wow.
My main gripe with both is the storage solutions. 1 TB/825gb will fill up fast. MS is going proprietary (marketing term for expensive) and Sony is going with swappable NVMe ssd, but have yet to announce any that are compatible.
It's sarcasm.
The people who made that studio great are all gone. Sad, really. Bioware was topnotch, when it came to Western RPGs.
