Stiff? BC2 was stiff. Personally, I liked how much you could tailor your control scheme and sensitivity.
You should. It's a must play.
I won't. Not for a bad reason, though. There was something magical and...sad about it. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I remember questioning why my character was doing what he was doing. There isn't a way for me to recapture that. I'll just read you all enjoying it while I hold on to my nostalgia. :)
At least it smells a little better than it did at launch.
@XMarkstheSpot: I wonder how many white pair of sneakers I can collect. lol
Enjoy getting 20 identical white shirts with your crates! :)
ARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIES!!!
The first one was always my favorite.
I remember reading an old Dev diary. I think it was Uncharted 2. Dude said the same thing. Putting everything together is stressful because, individually, things look broken. But once everything is put together and starts working the way it should, they start feeling better.
@kevnb: Just about every 4k TV on the market, supports some form of HDR. Monitors have not reached that point of saturation yet.
PC monitors that support HDR isn't wide spread enough.
My guess is because PC monitors are nowhere near to having HDR support.
Games are usually a broken mess until everything gets put together during the final crunch.
I miss attack choppers and little birds.
Is it rough around the edges? Very. But, I've had a ton of fun playing. Made my first top 10 a few games in, and it was the most tense, nerve wracking session. I can see how the addictive loop has sunk itself into a lot of PC players.
I hope they smooth things out, but, as bad as things are, I am enjoying myself.
I'll just cross my fingers and hope they get it right for the next Battlefield.
Error Code 5. Error Code 1. Error Code 4557, etc, etc...so far, it's the worst $60 I have ever used on a game.
Now everybody go after Activision!
If they get rid of loot crates, then season passes come back.
@maybelovehate: Bioware and Visceral had problems using it. I've seen complaints about it, in regards to Madden. I understand EA wanting all their internal studios to use one engine, to cut down on costs, but I think it's not a "one size fits all" engine because frostbite was made for a 1st person shooter.
I'd be happy if he had said, "...and it doesn't take forever to load into a match!"
