Ill probably get DA:I day one (the only exception) GTAV a few days later, and FC4 about 1-2 weeks later.
I won't lie, last few weeks the game got a little overshadowed (but not forgotten) for me with all the releases this month, but this trailer made me excited for it again.
I just hope Ubisoft doesnt botch it, and for that id rather wait abit after release.. just in case
Yh its a dirty trick, however it should tell people to be careful with pre-orders.
Or in the best case, stop pre-ordering completely as the risk of being ripped off is not worth the wee bonusses

This review embargo bull is enforcing this approach even more, and its becoming increasingly difficult to decide wether or not you should be excited for a new title.

I dont think 1st person view is going to affect the MP that much, most people play on auto-aim mode anyway.
You might actually think 3rd person will be the better option, since it gives you a wider field of view
Looks good fun, though the multiplayer interaction between players (if they are players, not npcs) is a little weird.. is that aspect still in progress?

If it really changes the set world you start in, it could add alot more replay value. Even by just putting in random choises for the ones who didnt play the previous games or dont remember as said above

But Im having trouble understanding Ubisoft. Theyr probably approaching it like ''take all the fun mechanics out of past games and create a new game out of it'', which is good on its own but dont they see that this is going to make alot of their games identical gameplaywise? Maybe with some minor improvements/changes with each new title?

It would be nice to have vehicles back in it aswell. There were tons of crazy ass racing maps in FC2, albeit clunky, it was hilarious

This time it might be just for multiplayer, but soon enough devs will release huge day 1 patches for singleplayer too. Which if not downloaded, render the game unplayable for people with no stable network connection
Well thats weak, no wonder they didnt mention the map editor of FC4 before. Although I always thought Ubi cutting out the editor was only a matter of time, its still a low blow for the FC fans that sticked with them since Far cry 1 or 2
