Hope its not ridden with bugs at release like Skyrim was when it just came out.. 4 months to iron out bugs might not be enough for a big open-world RPG
Should they delay it to Feb 2015 too though(along with The Witcher 3 and Dying Light), im going to flip my shit.
People just need to stop acting like their life depends on playing games, its getting ridiculous
Sure im dying to hear of F4 aswell but im not yanking Bethesda's balls about it. They don't owe us anything, and might even decide not to make a new Fallout title, what then? Ppl going to start rioting because Beth doesnt fill their needs?
On the other side Hines should've just got off his chair and take a deep breath, i don't envy his positio...
@Plyz
Well TLoU was an exception lol I also enjoyed it alot more than GTA V, but more because of the setting and atmosphere of the game, everything is done very well.
On the other hand I didnt really like UC3 that much.. too much over the top hollywood action-stuff. TLoU is more grounded and mature
If TLoU II would have large explorable areas, i would be a very happy person :)
exactly, the problem is with the people that see everything in black/white, as in skin color.
They would probably even sue M&M's for not having enough brown M&M's in their bag compared to yellow ones
Each to his own, I prefer exploring in games like nothing else. (unless theres absolutely nothing to find)
Discovering new areas somewhere tucked away in the far corners of the massive maps, and finding an interesting story about the place, or maybe a very useful item for your travels.
Linear games can be fun if done well, but most just feel like a long tedious train ride
Why would you sell out your studio to a publisher anyway?
Please dont tell me its about more money
Yes im aware of the case, perhaps this wasnt the best example for me to lash out to ZeniMax and other publishers, but they still make me cringe
Cant they just ask back the same amount of money they paid Carmack with? I have a feeling all this could interfere with the VR if they start claiming the tech itself
Yeah, cause f**k gaming and any progress towards an innovative device, we want money!
- ZeniMax 2014
Im getting so tired of all these sweaty money-grabbing publishers, 90% of them dont give a flying shit about games, nor have they ever played any themselves.. they only see $$$ and picked the gaming industry to get it lol
I really got to stop clicking on these articles.. Ill take Hines' advice and wait for something official, until then ill try to forget about a possible F4 :(
It won't be the same i think, but it'll give you a different unique feel u just have to give it time to sink in, just like you gave F3 time
Its something I learned when like you, i was looking for that same first playthrough experience in certain games lol
Just give it time, new experiences will come
What is exactly the point of these comparisons? ..other than giving obnoxious kids another reason to spit fire towards eachother
Cant wait to see some Alpha gameplay
Its quite funny, 5-6 years ago me and a friend came up with a similar game concept. Being stranded, suviving off the land, building shelter etc. Basically a proper 1st person survival game. (minus the cannibals)
Its really cool to finally see a game like this, but a more complete version. Easily my #1 game this year:)
I would buy that DLC :D
I think R* wanted to put the government in a dark light, it being currupt and all. Marston couldve focussed on getting his family and fleeing to nearby Mexico aswell, but that wouldnt make a very interesting story I suppose
Blood Dragon wasnt really a sequel to FC3, see it more as a large mod
Blood Dragon itself might actually get some sort of sequel though, seeing how well it was received
It looks nice, but i can't really seem to find anything that interests me in this game, no trolling or anything intended.
Cant really explain, but I have mixed feelings about it lol
I might wait a few weeks before trying it out
Aside from the Campaign features, I also hope they'll improve the map editor.
Its by far one of my favourite features from the series, however Far Cry 3's map editor felt like it could have been more.
Really looking forward to this, hope they dont rush it though
I really hope they will bring it to ps4 someday, I dont think ill be able to play this one on my laptop.. :( and its by far one of the most interesting concepts ive seen this year, being a big fan of survival horrors
If they would just put their time in creating the promised clan system and co-op(that shouldve been there with release)
Instead they make bot skins, spotlight moves and other gimmicks nobody asked for lol
@dontbhatin
Im not disagreeing, I much more prefer devs to polish their games in order to bring the best experience..
But before I rolled into next-gen, I tobbed around on wether to get a PS4 asap or wait a few months for more games. I still find myself switching back to ps3 frequently due to the many delays
I think they shouldve just waited a year with releasing the new consoles.. this year its either incomplete/rushed games or remastered games.
Maybe a handful of new titles like Watch Dogs and Destiny.
Also, why the hell are there so many games pushed to early 2015?
Right now we already have: The Witcher 3 and Dying Light in February, and MGSV early 2015 aswell.. thats alot of big games in a very small time window!
