yeah same here, i absolutely loved the different mods in Dead Island. Wish there was some safehouse for me to put them all on display or something lol
Maybe the only somewhat stale moment was between februari-juli, where there were only a handful of games to play. But these months (especially next month) there will be more than enough to choose from:)
Fallout (and The Elder Scrolls for that matter) are perhaps the most pure and versatile single player games for me.
Not to say that there isnt any room for experimenting, but if they do that it should be a seperate project much like The Elder Scrolls: Online.
Cause it would be really cool to have people build their own little settlements around the wasteland, and set up trading routes and stuff. But again, it might not work that well
Not to mention some games that might yet have to be announced for 2015
Its a form of entertainment, like painting. I like to create maps as well for games like Far Cry (with the map editor) and some can take up several weeks to finish.
Some people take it a step futher though and make entire mods, all for free and fun
I have a feeling this is going to be incredibly fun to play. Despite some flaws I really enjoyed Dead Island, and this seems to be a huge improvement on that. Very fluid and interesting gameplay mechanics.
Hope it also delivers on the content side (amount of weapons, weapon customisation, storyline, quests etc)
So far it seems they made good use of the extra year of development:)
Its cool, I was just pointing out the different purpose of the DLCs. One being to add to a story, the other being to create a story.
However DLC for just multiplayer (new maps, strikes, gear etc) is a different matter. Which i think is a part of an MMO/online experience.
I just didnt like their approach to leaving so many info out on the campaign's story, and expect people to shell out $10 for every lost bit
Edit: Given that they plan to ever ...
I have to say, at least TLoU still feels like a complete game and story, and could easily stand on its own without added DLC.
Whereas games like Destiny sort of feel like swiss cheese, theres pieces missing everywhere, probably with the intention to fill it up through DLC
Well thats taking anti-hero to a new level
Who said they ran into policy troubles? It might be an added process but not one that delays a game, and certainly not for a year
The Witcher 3 was one of the games I initially bought the PS4 for, but got delayed early 2014. In my eyes this will be one of a small selection of games actually worth getting so far.
I honestly cant imagine it turning out as an average game lol
But its always best not to fully succumb to hype and expectations
Right I see, thank you for the replies
Forgive me if this sounds dumb but, what the hell is Gamergate?
Or to be more specific, what do they do? Its going on for a while now i understand but I never really read into it..
They are definitely up there
Agreed.. I really like the series but this kind of feels like Far Cry 3.5
For example many of the weapons (9:45) are copy pasted with maybe a few new ones, thats a bit disappointing i think.
Ill play it nonetheless, but not expecting too much
I really like how hes explaining himself and the game.
Havent been this excited for a game since Skyrim:)
The Witcher 3 in the near future will also be 900p, however just 720p on X1 (if im not mistaken) but more due to the engine itself.
Throwing it away as untrue is just as bad as presuming it is true, in this case i prefer to stay neutral.
Yes the parity thing is silly, but on the other hand it wouldnt suprise me either.
Yh idno about all this, imean if the game is really that demanding for both X1 and PS4 (even though that doesnt really explain why both suddenly are 900p) its probably the only way.
But if theres something else going on behind it, shady deals and the like for profit, then I dont want to be a part of that either.
Gamers shouldnt be put in the line of fire in the war between Sony and MS
Wise choise, it seems for every person getting himself involved without really knowing whats up, another coal gets added to the fire.
In the end all this fuss isnt going to keep you from playing your games. In the worst case it might affect the bigger developers on how they create their games.
Though game devs emerge from all corners, indie studios are proof of this
Gaming will never die, simply put
Reviewers will have to earn trust, not ta...
