''You don't say? Why color me surprised,...not! Face it, these systems are pathetically weak, this generation is turning out to be a disappointment. And im tired of waiting for it to get better and show its true power.''
Wah wah wah, meanwhile everyone else will be having a good time with their systems and respective new titles.
@ajoseph
You seem to be the most sour here though.
If you read the comments, people are more than satisfied with the ps4 version. Its usually people like you trying to put other ''inferior'' versions down whenever you have the chance, which is why you got downvoted
If people choose to play on Xb1 or Ps4 and they are happy with it, then let them?
I'll take that as sarcasm..
If not, its very much connected to eachother lore- and storywise. TW3 even lets you transfer over major choises from TW2
[Edit]
Its just not mandatory to play earlier games as you will be introduced to the full picture early on in the game
Yh i find PvP to be the least enjoyable aspect of Souls games/Bloodborne.
It can be a thrilling moment for sure but some players just focus on PvP only with builds specifically meant for that.
While you as player have a hard enough time getting through the game and balancing out your characters skillset, some overleveled PvP guy just spawns in to steamroll you (PvP areas)
That combined with lag and shaky hit boxes makes it kind of silly sometimes
Oh, I wasnt aware of that..
In that case I retract the Bethesda thing.
I'm not sure what to think of all this though, modding programs and games literally built up gaming past decades.
Its the freedom to do so that made it flourish
Thankfully devs like Bethesda and such are the exact opposite and support the modding community as much as they can.
Modders in the past have contributed tons to gaming overall. R* trying to limit this in order to sell more DLC is just weak
..What would you consider good combat then?
It looks really well done. More focus on strategy, blocking, parrying and using a big selection of potions and spells to your aid.
Also, they took inspiration from the Souls series which requires you to be careful and adapt
I can only hope some dev out there takes a good look at P.T and see what huge potential it has if done correctly.
The weird psychological stuff in P.T overshadows any gore, zombie horde or monster chase in terms of suspense and horror
Man what a waste :(
I wouldnt be too sure of that
Wherever there is a coin to be made there will be people trying to rip you off somehow, or just sell half assed products.
Imagine this:
Some dude is selling his new mod claiming it adds a ton of new content, upgraded visuals, quests, you name it.
You, as a lifelong fan of the respective game goes and buy it. Then after one hour or so playing the mod your game crashes due to a serious problem with the mod...
I actually thought it was looking pretty impressive, especially the weather and fire effects
Its got the gritty wasteland tone spot on i think
Or a month earlier.. mid-summer would be a great time to play this. Feel some of that desert heat
You'd almost think that isnt allowed anymore
On topic,
It might be a little odd, but human beings can get attached to about anything (remember Wilson the volleyball from Cast Away?)
Wether its a caring love kind of attachment or an attractive sort.
Also since certain characters are very well written, be it in movie, game or book, its imaginable that people can grow a liking for fictional characters
Seeing as how empty the vanilla version was, most dont necessarily see that as a good thing
Everyone should be free to buy and play what they like though, without having to explain themselves.
You see people wasting money each day on the same recycled mobile phone games and microtransactions. And in no way is that going to stop you from enjoying your stuff
Same here, going to try avoid fast travel for as long as possible. Or only use fast travel up to major cities and such, and do the remaining on foot/horse
I believe certain places will be reserved for later in the story, but other than that I think its open for exploration.
Can't wait to run into some far away forest monster and get my head chewed off
Yeah, though a reason could be The Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight being released coming months
Bummer though, think i'll wait with watching the movie one week or so before the game comes out
Hmm Journey did the passive cooperative online thing very well. If this game will have similar interactions, it might be pretty fun.
Though Journey had a strong focus and set goal, and wasnt open like Wander is. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out nonetheless
You pre-ordered BF4 and AC Unity too?
Not trying to persuade you.. If you see no problems with it, its cool. But paying up front for something that might not even work never made much sense to me
Edit: Not work, or enjoy the gameplay for that matter
As myself :D
I usually do role-playing on second playthrough
On a side note, CDPR mentioned that there will be quite a few weapons to pick up right? I hope there will be (or in the future) some sort of way to display these weapons in a weapon armory of some sorts, for collection purposes.
Storing unique weapons away in a locked chest just isnt the same..
@Fullmetal
That would work, if those people actually had a form of conscience.
Most just take whatever they can get from others and still manage to smile in the mirror each day with not a spark of self reflection.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not completely innocent either, I download movie torrents quite often. But thats a one of a time thing, you dont go spending $25 on a new bluray that you'll probably watch once, maybe twice if good.
