CDPR is definitely playing it right, however one of the DLCs for F4 (Far Harbor) will also have a new landmass, with new side quests and places to explore. Much like TW3's DLC it will be a separate questline, not a continuation.
Its always advisable to wait and see how it turns out, though I personally enjoyed the past expansions from Fallout 3 (Point Lookout, The Pitt) so I'm not too worried
The way I see it, that 3rd DLC with the new area and Valentine (Far Harbor) will cost 24.99 seperately, which i'm most interested in.
For the moment the season pass is only 5 bucks/euros more, so I'm fine with paying those 5 euros more. So thats 5 euros for basically the rest of the DLC content aside from Far Harbor, hardly a loss.

Well next thing you know they'll demand to ban any sexual themes in media. I doubt anyone would oppose banning actual child pornography and violent rape and such, but its about a body like the UN trying to outlaw something they don't like, in this case in games. And something like that can easily escalate to banning all kinds of things in gaming.

Just finished it a moment ago, I thought it was quite nice. The interaction between D and H reminded me of Simon and Catherine in SOMA. Kind of the close yet distant type of thing
Though both Cod and Forza are already full 60$ games once you initially buy them, allowing you to easily get a good few weeks of fun once released. The extras then are just a nice layer on the top.
But with episodic games, you get maybe 2-3 hours out of each episode? And then you'll have to wait another month or two for the next bit.

Atleast with the full game you know exactly what you will be buying and how much content there is of it. While with episodic games you really just have to wait and see whatever they release next.
Sure one can decide whether to buy each episode or not, but it makes no sense buying half of the episodes as you would miss part of the story (given that there is one)

Out of all games last year, Fallout 4 is definitely the one I'm spending most time with. Just so much stuff to try out, build, its been nearly 3 months and I still get lots of new ideas
Yeah I don't mind paying the full price, if I deem it worth that price.
But buying a game in early access and hoping the developer will manage to make something out if it, instead of dropping it all together or half-assing it, eh not too sure about that.
I'm all for supporting upcoming studios but I found early access a bit too shaky
Well if you're looking for something more challenging, The following will have a ''nightmare mode'', meaning it'll become more of a tense survival game rather than silly zombie wacking. That with the new large open map could make for some good times
Also I think they forgot to include Layers of Fear(feb 19) in the list
More options is always a plus. Arena shooters arent considered a walk in the park mostly anyways, there are bound to be some fanatics wanting to up the challenge to hone their skill

One could claim the main game not being worth 60$ either, yet others get over 200h+ of game time out of it.
I'd say judge for yourself once it's released, if you thought the vanilla game to be so bad
