They should have stuck with a 20-25 pricetag I think, then it would be OKish
At its current state, and i won't lie about it, its gets bland quick. I played the first few days but past week haven't had a single urge to continue, which is usually a bad sign. I really really hope they'll add stuff in the future, for everyone's sake
"Fun-factor may not have been that high for you, but I'm having a blast."
The opposite in my case, I am still playing F4 on regular basis, often building new things. Haven't got access to mods (yet) though I'm sure things will only improve after that.
I just believe Obsidian got a rough deal before.. So i'd like to see them on it once again, perhaps in collaboration with Bethsoft
I think it would be fair to give Obsidian another shot, as they focus heavily on RPG and story aspects.
The engine limited Fallout:NV severely and got bashed for it, so I believe once that barrier is gone they'll be able to deliver a stellar game
August 30th, according to Bethesda.net

Can't wait for this :D
Glad it is. It would be a shame if it had failed, given the amount of effort the small team put in.
Gods and deities are constantly portrayed in film and tv (often wrongly), but when a game adopts a simple skin resembling one it's suddenly a big problem? Seems to me these people just want their 15 minutes of fame
Not sure what all these articles mean with ''Too little too late'' The game hasn't even been out for a year.
I can imagine someone not enjoying the game but.. I don't think there was a lack of content compared to other recent games
I know the first thing I'll be doing. If i see any indication as to where the centre of the galaxy/universe is, I'll be heading the exact opposite way :D
Are these actual people posting..?
Hope it's got some nice ambience tracks, I often listen to those long after I finished the game
No point using common sense here, people like Anita and her followers seem to have a built-in logic filter in their heads.
Really just look over the comment sections on these topics. Whenever someone comes up with a good argument they either ignore&disappear or continue to blame them for being skeptical, or hell, for being a (white) man.
Im sure there's a fair balance between hostile and peaceful planets.
Meh, I always enjoyed their games despite the bugs. Not defending their poor coding, just no reason for me to skip their games..
Wait.. was it the center of the Galaxy or center of the Universe? Cause center of the universe, while cool, doesn't make a lot a sense.
If it is indeed the whole universe (based on the vast amount on planets) I wonder if it's possible to travel between galaxies, which is really just a giant black void with the occasional stray star.
All they will likely do is create an underground scene though. Much like banning alcohol or pornography, people will keep creating and selling. And developers (albeit small 10-man teams) will continue creating violent games.
Gaming might actually look like the mid 90's again, where being a gamer was equally frowned upon lol
Yeah, only you don't shoot real people in games. Any sane person can understand the difference, therefore the prime issue with these incidents is the mental health of these people. Which apparently seems impossible to understand for politicians.
Imean if gaming had such a great impact on peoples behavior.. shouldn't all gamers be rampaging around with guns by now?
Not aimed towards you btw, just the topic at hand
What engine would that be?
Yeah I believe I read in an article yesterday there are to be different Alien races with their own languages, each owning/residing in different parts of the galaxy. You can interact with these aliens as well, according to the article
Yeah, whenever I read headlines such as these feeding into this "platform/console war" I get the urge to face plant my desk repeatedly.
It's all a part of a single industry and so all platforms add to the industry in their own way, either through sheer revenue or strong competition. It's the reason gaming has grown from dark back alley arcades to the multi-million (billion?) dollar industry it is today, in hardly 40 years
