Isn't this the old tactic used to hype your game or console by undermining the opposing console. As for the website that put up this article, it definitely got the hits it was aiming for. We're being used by these websites.
The japanese have a strange and daring way of depicting black people. I'm not to sure how I feel about the man's afro serving as a bird's nest to that chick. That's just stupid and thoughtless creativity.
I'm not going to bash you for your comment because you're obviously a victim of internet blogging. The performance of the Xbox360 and PS3 is not determined by the amount of space that could fit on their mediums respectively. For the last time, Blu-ray disc will not make a game look or perform better. This is not the days of the SegaCD. The biggest problem with multiple disc is for the developers to find a stopping point for each disc and cutting down the cost. It's never hurt a developer...
Flames coming in 3....2....1 my a$$. I won't even give this blogger the satisfaction of me going to the sight to generate hits. Does anybody really think that Nintendo doesn't like the fact that it's own IPs and hardware are equally selling in the millions. Without the third party publishers, the Wii would be nothing more than a plug-in-play unit such as the Xavix console which had motion sensing way before the Nintendo Wii was introduced to the market. My son and I have a 360, but I boug...
These type of articles have been flooding the net lately and it's become annoying. Instead of posting articles with relevant information about an upcoming game or review, the bloggers decide that the best way to get hits is to post a contraversial argument about which system is losing a console war that's been split three ways. Neither of the consoles need saving because the third party developers are making money with mult-platform development. Well in Nintendo's case the third party deve...
Will someone please shut this guy down (Hiphopgamer). He's a poor representation of what hip hop is about and by far the most biased blogger I know of. Every podcast that gets released, the guy makes a fool of himself talking about how much potential is still left in the PS3's capabilities and how we'll soon see the power of the PS3 in 2009. It was the same story for 2008. Are gamers supposed to wait this long just for one game to come out and allegedly surmount the 360's capabilities. I...
To be on the fair side of things, there weren't alot of games on the consoles of the past that used multiple discs, but we can't ignore the fact that past gen gaming wasn't in HD. The disc space is only limited because the higher resolution of today's games eat up disc capacity. It has nothing to do with the ignorant comments that have come from some in the industry who claim that a blu-ray disc would make games look better. It's a storage medium for Pete's sake and not expandle or upgrade...
I don't think that Nintendo has lost much momentum. Let's just face it; most of Nintendo's momentum was sparked by supply and demand issues that most gamers have come to realize was induced by Nintendo themselves. No core gamer would argue that Nintendo focused more on selling millions of consoles and left software to an afterthought. They made it more apparent with such a poor holiday library. It's true that more casual gamers bought the Wii than core gamers, but that's no excuse to just...
Thank you for clarifying that Tri Ace did indeed develop Infinite Undiscovery. So that actually changes everything and it also means that Square's only in house developed game for the power houses is Last Remnant. That's pretty pathetic. What were they thinking by releasing all of those ports for the DS? Oh well, I'm still buying Star Ocean 4.
Some of the comments posted don't make any sense at all. First of all, it's Square's own fault that they have such a lost. When the 360 was young, Square was too proud and big headed to bring any of there good games over to the 360 (no, Final Fantasy XI does not count). Square was trying so hard to hold out for Sony and make sure that the PS3 would be the console to drive their franchises, but with the slower than expected sales of the PS3 gave them a change of heart and realized that they...
I'm not sure what to expect from a title that uses clay animation. Are the characters rendered in 3D with the intention of looking like traditional claymation, or will the game be taking a Donkey Kong64 approach? If it's an Xbox Live Arcade title, it should do well, if it's a full retail game minus the depth of a sweeping 3D camera; it better damn well do something that other games of its kind haven't done in a long time, and that is be a fun side scrolling platformer.
I guess the sales of the game didn't live up to expections, so Kojima had to swallow his own words about the game never making its way to the 360. Fanboys have to realize that these Japanese developers aren't cuddling up to Microsoft; there's a proven fact that gamers on the 360 purchase more games for the console than either the Wii and PS3 put together. These developers want to make money from all of their hard earned work. Do the math. The exclusives that helped brand the name Playstat...
This game had better hurry up and get released soon before it becomes one of those games that people stop caring about. Back in 2005 it was the most controversial subject in gaming. If the devs hadn't lied about the CG trailer being real game play, the game would come out in 2009 without being a victim of not living up to the hype. It could come out as it is and wow many FPS fans. The only problem is that FPS fans are asking a whole lot more than a floating gun in space with impressive gr...
It's actually kind of easy to check the manufacturing date for each console because every console box has a window cut out of the box exposing the maufacturing date of each console. I know because I asked to view each box on the shelf before I purchased my son's console. I had an Oct. 11,2007 maufactured date on his console, but 1 week ago I experienced the red rings, but I think it had more to do with the storage placement of the console rather than it being a defected console. I hadn't e...
I love the fact that the game is coming to the 360, but I don't see any real reason to brag about a games graphics during a cutscene movie. The current gen consoles are damn near capablle of makinig cg movies in real-time when it comes to cutscenes. And like the other guy said, this game is turn-based with pre-orchestrated animations. I'm sure it's going to be a great game, but it's time to step things up a bit and get some real-time combat thrown in for good measure. Lost Oddysey didn't ...
So Xbox360 has outsold the PS3 for the third week in a row in Japan while keeping it close to the Nintendo Wii. As optimistic as I am, even I didn't see this being consistent. Good job Microsoft. Japan's a strange market, I must say.
This guy is by far the biggest poser I have ever seen. He gives hip a bad name and very stereo typical representation of the culture as well. Who gave this guy his legs in the game industry. He really should just make his blog a PS3 only blog. He's very baised, but sometimes he tries to come off as a non-biased gamer. I chose Xbox360 and it's not like I don't have the money to get a PS3, but it's not the system that I prefer for the games that I like. I just wish people would stop tryin...
I think they should be more concerned with which direction to take the title. Another lame FPS would just be 'another' FPS. If the game goes multiplatform, including the Wii as an option, the other two consoles will suffer because of the Wii's hardware capabilities. People bought the Wii for it's controller innovation. I bought my 360 for its visuals and cinamatic gameplay. Leave the Wii out of it all together. Unless the developers are willing to make a separate version for the Wii and...
I am a very big fan of Microsoft, but I will never be biased just to support my fanboyism. That would be stupid. I'm quite suprised this hasn't stirred more of an argument amongst marketplace users. I really really believe that Microsoft prices most of the content above or below for sinister reasons. I'll give you an example. Recently I wanted to purchase the maps for Halo 3. The maps were priced at maybe 600 and 800 microsoft points. Instead of being able to purchase exactly 1400 micr...
