Yeah dude, this is getting beyond ridiculous. I can't believe how desperate these articles are becoming. Exactly how much money is involved in trying to get a few hits to your site by making a biased article? It's almost as if these guys spend all day in front of a computer looking for a neutral subject to convert it to a controversial topic. These authors are copying and pasting each others articles only to slightly reword them. Why does it seem that so many articles are negative abo...
I don't give a shit about how good an offshore company is doing. I strongly support american products. When Microsoft created the Xbox360, it was a game changer. Before the console, I remember we would have to wait a year or more before consoles even touched our soil, and then another year before we could play the games that were enjoyed by japanese gamers. Microsoft changed the game by releasing the console worldwide within just a few months. Sony followed, and it's been great for ga...
Reaction my ass, anyone could have made up such a statement and then wrote an article just to get hits to their website. Hey guess what, I just called Microsoft, and the guy on the phone said that Microsoft doesn't comment on rumor or speculation. See my point. The guy that wrote the article said the same shit in a different way. And the post has people running to the source and earning dollars for the publisher. These rehashed rumors are getting ridiculous.
Lol. I love my Xbox Live, but that's some funny $h!t.
Wait! So if I lose my internet connection as a result of not paying my cable bill, will my game console be rendered unplayable. That's madness. It will only cause cable companies (or any other internet service provider) to abuse pricing because of the demand. That's like raping the consumers' pockets. This could be detrimental just as much as the price of gas, yet we need it in order to fuel our transportation. is this the treatment we get in return for supporting the gaming indus...
Yeah dude, I agree. It's pretty messed up to ask a consumer to pay more for less, even more messed up considering the digital content is coming from the company that owns Xbox Live. There's no justification for not having a discount. It even erases the dilemma of used game resales. So what's the excuse??? If they are trying to eliminate used games sales, why not give consumers a reason to support the argument?
I'm an Xbox fan. I have nothing against Sony, it's just a matter of preference. I do however think it's getting harder and harder for Microsoft to justify paying 60 bucks a year to play the content (multiplayer) of a game that you already own. For crying out loud, it comes on the disc. The only difference between playing multiplayer on Xbox Live and Playstation Plus is that Microsoft uses a closed infrastructure for Xbox Live. I don't have to explain that to any core gamer. I ...
I'm getting a better understanding just how impressive Halo4 looks. I've just being playing the realistic themed shooters for so long that I lost faith in my original favorite franchise. I mostly blame that on Bungie though. I bought almost all of the Halo titles except for ODST and Halo Wars. Bungie was getting beat at their own game while Microsoft gave them limitless amounts of funding that most devs don't even get but still manage to make better games. We praised them too much...
I've always hated their currency system. It's a rip off that other companies use to keep the consumer spending or slightly unaware of how much they're actually spending in real currency. If you buy content from Xbox Live, every peice of content is priced in a way that would never let the consumer break even with points. You'd always have either two little points to make a purchase or more points than you need. Having points left over always leaves the consumer pressured to buy...
Can those bastards at Activision really be that greedy? And how can Microsoft let this happen. So now am I supposed to believe that the cost to digitally distribute a game to my console's hard drive is more of an expense for the publisher. That's just bulls..t That game is old. There's no physical copy, no physical retailer, and no demand. Microsoft must be careful to not let things like this and the Microsoft points system screw up its Live service consumer base.
How do biased articles such as this even get approved. This site has lost much of my respect. An article has to be approved before it's published, so it's obvious that N4g enjoys all of the flame bait and biasing this place is known for. It gets hits, so we get it N4g....
There's no denying that these guys have a compelling argument. There really should be some limits to acquisition and exclusivity at some point. It was very dirty of EA to pay for an exclusive lisence just because they were too lazy to produce a product that would be worthy of the 60 bucks gamers paid each year for Madden's annual release. The one factor that could hurt EA in this case is the fact that after purchasing the exclusive lisence, they hiked the retail price for Madden back ...
Does anyone else notice that Sony keeps upping the sales numbers with significant increases. At the rate that they claim the PS3 sales is just lik saying that the 360 doesn't sale at all. It's funny that as soon as NPD stops reporting sales numbers and leaving it up to the companies to release their own sales numbers, Sony decides to claim random numbers just to make the company look better than they actually are. There's simply no proof to back up any of their claims. Their sale...
Are you people now just making up numbers? That's like saying that the PS3 has outsold the Wii for a year and that the 360 hasn't sold any consoles at all in a year. A million is still a million and it's a large margin of error. People are throwing the million around like it's a hundred.
Heeyyy
So all this time Sony's been focusing on the casual gamer? This is new to me. I barely know a child or woman that even owns a PS3. Let's just admit that the Move controller will blow away the Wiimote, but it will slightly struggle competing with Kinect for obvious reasons. Women and children will eat up Kinect. Hardcore gamers like myself will go and buy that bundle simply just because I will get the whole experience. Let's face it. A Kinect/360 bundle for 299 is way better...
I'm really having a difficult time seeing so many article titles that bash the 360 for whatever it does. I don't understand the point of arguing that while playing the 360 Kinect one would look stupid. I think it sounds more stupid arguing that PS Move and Wii make you look less stupid because instead of waving your arms and legs, they require you to only wave your arms and pretend that the rest of your body is involved with the gameplay. Enough is enough, just quit it with the art...
Maybe the source should learn to write first. I noticed that the video may have an asian woman in it. Meaning that the enviroment may be a small apartment in Japan, and we already know that the Xbox360 is not well accepted in the region. The video proves nothing, and as far as I know I couldn't tell if the Xbox360 S was even connected.
Why is it that everytime the competition, in this case microsoft as victim, announces a new and highly anticipated product, does someone intentionally attempt media sabotage. The internet is becoming more and more of an unreliable source of information for unbiased feedback. Some guy just happens to claim that he has the redesigned 360 and decides to post a video of the console overheating so he could express his benevolence by warning the world that if they buy the Xbox360 S they will exper...
I think this topic has become ridiculous and an obvious sabotage to taint the consoles credit before it's even announced. What people haven't realized that it's just a rumor at this point. I have drawn my own conclusions and I think Microsoft may be planning something brilliant. In the past I have read a rumor that there will be 2 SKUs. I predict that Microsoft plans to provide 2 pricing models. They will probably use something similar to the $99 Xbox360 price which includes a 2 y...
