As much as I'm anticipating that this will be the Halo the fans are waiting for, I must admit that it did look like something was missing. You make a good point about how even with 6 months left of development time, but we shouldn't expect anymore from Bungie than what we saw in the video. Indeed Halo 3's beta was also launched leaving a wide gap between the beta's release and retail release. Even with all of the development time, the beta looked just like the retail release. I could only...

Tell that to Bungie who has survived with only one IP under it's helm. I think it's ridiculous to have only released 3 Halo games in ten years. I'm almost afraid to think what it would be like for them to venture into another genre. I just don't see them doing anything groundbreaking outside of fps. They practically re-invented the genre, but they're now playing catch up to the competition, thanks to their lazy attitudes that Halo's name alone would sell anything they put out.

Why do these stupid articles get approved? Please people, have some common sense, and stop reading all of these negatives articles that are meant not to prove an argument, but instead used to get free hits from fanboys. This type of journalism is tasteless.

The article was intentionally posted in this section to fuel a flame war debate for those naive enough to rush over to the site and see what all the noise is about. If the headline looks childish and bias, I just stay in the N4G zone and comment. I'm not going to give those bastards any free hits to their websites. It's getting ridiculous and seems like everyone's doing it now.

Judging by the design, I think my girlfriend might enjoy this device more than me. However, I know she hates videogames, I think she might have a change of heart whenever I'm out of town. I'm just saying.

I don't see the point in this guy's argument. Alot of people have had a preview of the Natal demo and have walked away very impressed with the technology. I really don't think that Microsoft could have possibly persuaded such a large audience to say positive things about the Natal. That's thinking too naively. When videogame developers program any game's movements, they are all pre-programmed to perform a certain action when pressing a command button. For example, whenever I get a payba...

Sounded more like he was trying to sell a used car. Did he really just imply that developers like PSN more than Xbox Live and that they can potetially make more money on their network? It's not very professional to make things up. Has he even seen the numbers for Xbox Live or is he in denial? It's hard not to spend money on the service because it's a great value. The number of paid subscriptions speak for themselves.

I honestly can't understand why there's so much denial about how good of a console the Xbox360 is. I honestly also think that the PS3 is a great console, but I feel that Microsoft's venture into videogames helped Sony to step it up. Competition is always good. I love the exchanged blows between one company and another to put out the best products to win over consumers. I have an Xbox360 because it has great games and it's online community is untouched. I also like the PS3 because they have gr...

I can't believe how many comments from PS3 fanboys end up in the Xbox360's space. It's always bashing and name calling. It's really wierd. I just hope that the comments are coming from teens and not adults. If I didn't know any better, I would think that there are more PS3 owners than 360 owners because I see so many negative comments from the PS3 owners no matter what gaming site I visit. However, I know that's not the case. They seem to be everywhere, even on the sites that are exclus...

What I picture is some fat guy sitting in a basement with empty coke cans, old fast food bags, and several modded consoles telling himself how great he is at gaming while he's modding or using some other form or cheating. Everytime I hear about one of these guys getting banned from Live it makes me smile because I pay for Xbox Live for a reason and expect quality that shouldn't be ruined by some nerd who gets a boner from augmenting his luck.

There's still a verdict on whether or not any of the Fables have been cutting edge. What Peter and his team did with the first game was change the whole rpg formula and inspired other devs aswell. But as far as cutting edge goes, I didn't see it all in Fable 2. What I got was a descent game that didn't meet my expectations visually. The game started out with a lot of potential and got me really excited and thinking that I would be enjoying the game for the average 40 hour quest. Instead ...

I try not to be a fanboy. Everytime a gamer says that graphics don't matter when it comes to quality, it contradicts everything that these HD consoles were built for. Story driven games such as rpgs are supposed to be visually appealing. Without the proper visuals, games like this can't grab the audiences' attention enough to believe that they are in a living, breathing world, which is everything Peter Molyneux wants to achieve. We're supposed to be seeing emotion. I don't see how that c...

I don't know about you guys, but I was very distracted by the err female or whatever it was that was playing the demos. Did someone screw up the audio or something or was that a tranny or some sort? I don't think it was the former because Kudo sounded the same as he always does. WTF? I'm just saying..........

I'm quite impressed by how responsive the device is to your body's movements. I can't believe that there appears to be no lag in between the players movements and what translates on screen. Incredible tech to say the least.

I don't see that it looks better. In fact I'm disturbed by how it noticeably looks worst than it's prequel. I'm starting to realize that Peter's a good designer and all, but he makes promises that he doesn't always live up to. I loved Fable 1 and 2, but with all the development time that they put into the titles, it makes me wonder why the games are so short or end so abruptly. I mean the game uses an engine that's been used since the first title, so why not give us a long story driven ga...

This game looks way too wierd and outdated to me. I hope the gameplay is fun enough to deter away from it's lazy design. This honestly looks like it could have been done on the first Xbox or Wii which would have been just fine. But it also proves the argument that Japanese devs are far behind in their engine tech.

Halo 3 was obviously the unfinished product that was Halo2. Just check for yourself. I completed Halo 2 again and immediately popped in Halo 3. There's no arguing that the opening introduction of Halo 3 had recycled Halo 2's resources to the fullest with only a few added textures and enhanced resolution. The poly count was so close that in some ways Halo 2's marines looked better.

Are you talking about this? http://talkplaystation.com/... Both games look good, but Killzone2 clearly took more short cuts with backgrounds, lighting, and textures. Textures are clearly low resolution, which puts less stress on the game engine along with the closed enviroments as opposed to Halo Reach's alleged large open enviroments that will be closer to sandbox style navigaiton. And even a...

I admit that KZ2 is a great looking game, but I have yet to see any high resolution images of the game. The game's been out for a long for a while now, but the most avoided topic about the game is it's very low resolution. What I saw was a finished game being compared to a game in alpha build. Reach's resolution is obviously higher. The second overlooked topic is KZ2's enviroments are closed. The battle fields aren't opened. The sun doesn't peirce the sky in KZ2. There's always fog every...
