You were never even considered supporting Microsoft, so why try to pretend that it wasn't until the Xbox One first got launched with the old policies that you decided the console wasn't for you. Save it.
Yes, it is a counter article. You don't have to be a genius to see that every time a positive Xbox One article gets posted, there's some vulture journalist out there waiting to find the best way he can to get clicks to his website. They know that this site has a very strong PS4 fanbase, so the journalists capitalize on every chance they can get. It's actually quite pathetic.
If it hasn't already been said, let me be the first to comment on how biased people can be about this whole matter. Microsoft released a console with the intention of promoting a digital future but now it's a good thing when Valve does it.
WTF? Are these journalist so desparate to get some extra change that they write these pointless articles. Give it a rest, it's getting old. Has anyone noticed how the journalist are running out of ideas for articles. No drm, no spying camera, no red ring of death, no kinect spying on you, no 50% power difference, etc. Aint shit to talk about anymore because both consoles are knocking it out of the park, which means more dev support which means more games. Hmm..poor Nintendo.

I'm not usually one to comment on a Sony article, but the future of PS4 definitely looks to be more of the same. Not sure what the exciting news is, but he did say "very" exciting. That word shouldn't be used loosely. It can get us fans excited, and then possibly set us up for disappointment. We shall see. Xbox One is already shaping up to be one helluva console.
