Actually, even among casual gamers, they complain about the controls, while others who don't have an iPad, can't really see on the iPhone screen (especially when you have your thumbs all over it). Granted, they probably don't care as much as we do.
I don't like iPhone games. The short and simple ones are good to pass the time, but not something worth while.
If I had to recommend a few long term games, the Ace Attorney and Ghost Trick ports from Capcom were worth getting for iPhone/iPod touch.
To be blunt, people don't scare easily anymore and have shorter attention spans. If you can't run and gun, then it won't make money, therefore companies don't make them.
I don't agree with that. Just sayin.
I enjoyed Alan Wake, but it started to feel like Deadly Premonition gameplay...and I'd rather play that game.
Other than avoiding every Capcom game from now on, I'll just be sticking with the RE6 demo. I figure 5 minutes of the Michael Bay crap is enough, compared to the 30 hour full game.
Honestly, the Ada side-story looked the most impressive.
Well, Sonic the Hedgehog for 360/PS3 basically 'looked' like Sonic Adventure, but it obviously was not. I highly doubt Sonic Adventure 3 would be like 1 & 2.
Sega going back to its 2D roots and was getting praise, they thought to play it safe and they stuck to it. Sonic 4 episode 2 shows otherwise.
Being that this will be the first time I won't be getting a Nintendo console on launch, I'm not too concerned.
Ni no Kuni I'm sure will make an eventual appearance. Epic Mickey 2 surprised me. I was under the impression that it was slated for the Wii/Wii U.
There are a few other factors, but 'price' is a major problem for me too. $350-$400 sounds about right to 'commit' to the PS Vita. I do want it, it's just not right now. With the 3DS being $170, the memory card not being an issue, and hashing out ports left and right but ones I love; made it a much easier choice.
I'm sure the Vita will do fine around the holiday season. Hope I can find a good bundle deal around black friday.
And Sony d...
Relax. It's just nerd hazing.
It'll be like going into a comic book store and not knowing that Spiderman is from Marvel and Batman is from DC.
It's good to know that N4G has no fun atmosphere. Point taken.
I also love how people like you are taking this seriously and feel the need to be above others.
Some people probably still call Bowser and Princess Peach as King Koopa and Princess Toadstool. As a joke, I'd go pft, but seriously they might not know. (I'm referring to Americans, as the Japanese has always called him King Koopa).
I agree, especially referring to the Wii's Virtual Console. Playing NES or SNES games with their respected controller feels better in my hands, than the Wii remote. Blowing into a cartridge is also part of the retro experience.
Thankfully, PS consoles have the same controller, so playing a PS1 or PS2 game feels the same. The only thing to worry about is the disc getting scratched over time.
If it was an older man or woman, that would make sense. I would even excuse someone for not knowing how the code worked.
But this dude looks pretty young. He has no excuse. lol
Disagree fairies like to do that. It also happens when you say something good about Gear of War/Halo/CoD and say anything bad about MGS/Sony Battle Royale.
Personally, I find it rather humorous sometimes, but the disagree button is useless. It's too easy to just hit the button. A real man would back up his disagreement (respectfully).
That said, I look forward to the massive amount of disagrees I get for this.
Actually, I would be wary of PSN downloads.
Anyone remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HD? It was removed from the store. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough, but going through my game list, I couldn't find it anymore. I'll look again, because I'm glad that people are saying that they can still access their games, despite being taken off PSN.
That's good. Though I wouldn't be so devastated if it did erase the old save data. Sure I might lose a special item or something, but MGS4 was one of my first PS3 games, which was a long time ago (6 years now?). Not just MGS, but with most games I usually just start over, after a long dry spell.
Final Fantasy games are infamous for not finishing them. Regardless on how far I went, I would restart them. Certain moments in games where you need to do something specific. ...
Good point. I forgot about Journey.
Not really into iOS games, especially ones that have a lot of buttons. They often become unresponsive, which is critical in gaming. I also have large hands, so my thumbs covering the majority of the screen, is not pleasing.
Also, it looks like Xmen Legends.
Get CoD out of those lists. Though I agree about Wii Sports and Portal choices.
FallOut/Skyrim and Batman Arkham games are also good mentioning. Heavy Rain was cool in the sense that it was basically a glorified movie. I want more of that.
I would love to see Viewtiful Joe HD. God Hand is already up on PSN (maybe it's not in your region?). Silent Hill 1 is a PSone classic, Silent Hill 2/3 has an HD collection, but SH4 might go up.
You pretty much answered your own question, after that it's just a matter of how much it bothered the player.
It's very much fun, but it's mainly mercenaries that everyone cares about. Though I still had fun, I consider it the worst in the RE series. Co-op forced Sheva onto you during single campaign mode and she was an idiot. There was no atmosphere period; just run and gun. Both of those factors killing the horror aspect. The story literally needed to be 'pi...
