I consider myself a diehard RE fan, but I don't feel I can play this game and give it an accurate opinion.
Half of me still has an agenda against Capcom for their more recent games and bad business practices, while the other half is looking at the downward slope of RE, after Shinji Mikami left.
Playing the game now, I feel I would concentrate on everything bad and I can't/shouldn't give an opinion about RE6. Of course, it doesn't look like I...
I'm not sure how to feel. This was the one thing I wanted remade, since RE1 remake.
However, with the way the Resident Evil series is, I'm not sure if I want to give Capcom the chance to screw up one of my favorite RE games.
Well, obviously I'll get one for a Zelda, but that won't be for a while. Out of that list, I'd say ZombieU looks the most enticing.
This will be the first Nintendo console I won't get at launch, but I do plan on getting it someday. Perhaps next year's black friday will have a good bundle deal and its library should have grown by then.
Not sure if I'll buy it again, but the idea that I could switch over to the NES music is pretty cool.
And lol @ auto-battle.
Though I enjoyed SA, I wouldn't call it the greatest game of all time.
About DLC? The reason I'm worried, is because Fire Emblem Awakening has DLC for various characters for extra modes.
Besides Lucas, Wolf, and Ice Climbers; I don't agree with the rest of the list. Though this could be said with any character, but if you know how to use Jigglepuff, she can end up being a very strong character.
Aside from Marth, I'm predicting that Krom with be the second Fire Emblem character, to help promote the FE 3DS game. But I hope he has Roy's moves, cause I miss him. I also predict that Nintendo will pull a Capcom and have additional Characters for DLC, bu...
I saw Roman Bellic and closed the page.
The rest of the list is just a rehash of most lists out there.
Misadventures of Tron Bonne is one of my favorite games, next to the Legends series.
I never sell games, but if I did, I would never sell 'that' game.
OMG, that's seriously our cover? I loved the Japanese one, but I just figured ours was still a working progress...oh man.
Besides maybe two, this was a terrible list. 80/90's retro game covers had a certain charm and should be excused.
And that's not RE6's cover, is it?
Sega might think Yakuza is a better investment. I would still love to see a third Shenmue game.
Final Fantasy/Nobuo Uematsu
Various Nintendo Games/Koji Kondo
Silent Hill/Akira Yamaoka
Castlevania/Various artists
Megaman/Manami Matsumae and various others
Resident Evil series (bigger props to Code Veronica)
There's many more. There can never be just one favorite for me. I was mainly doing entire game soundtracks, but I want to give shout outs to Fire Emblem theme, Battlefield 1942 theme, and Tetris.
The company that disregards substance, but focuses more on what saves the most money to develop and what will make the most money by pure "illusion" of fun, but really is just milking a title like Resident Evil and so forth.
Heh, of all the people to say such things. Oh Capcom.
Argh, it's people like that that made my days working in retail a living hell (Kohls Customer Service). If there's a shirt or socks that's not the right price, I'll be happy to give you the lower. But come on, expecting $15 for a new $60 game, obviously it's a pricing error. Even if we are talking about an evil corporation like Walmart.
I remember a customer coming up to me with (two) 6-in-1 suitcase sets, $150 per set. She said there were two signs up say...
@Machioto
I appreciate your feelings about the Vita's release date. Being released mid or end of February is a little weird. Typically a good release date is end of October/beginning of November for the US. You give people enough time to hear about the product and it's also in time for Black Friday sales and Xmas shopping.
But released in February is hard to grasp. They probably couldn't make it for the holiday season and to wait almost a whole y...
^ Agreed. Hard to believe I paid full price on launch.
Mainly because after the patch, it fixed most of the glaring problems. Even then it's still an 'okay' game.
I have a few hangups about XBOX Live, but I respect your opinion,
In regards to Europe vs US for PSN; that's odd. Usually it's people from Europe that complain about not getting the games we get in the US. I don't have an example in mind though.
If you find yourself buying a lot of games from PSN, then get PS Plus. I feel Plus already paid for itself and more, and it's still only halfway through the year.
I respect people's opinions, but RE Revelations is WAY too high on that list. The combat and story would've made it better than RE5, but definitely not better than RE2,RECV, RE3. I think I played it for a day or two and I was not impressed. It's collecting dust now.
Though I do agree that RE Remake and RE4 are a toss up for best. Depending on if you're more for action or survival horror. I'm also happy to see Outbreak get a nod, as I liked both the gamepla...
