I hope you are getting paid by Sony to spew that crap, if not you are getting screwed.
For starters, not everyone that owned a 360 bought an X1. Here's news, some bought PS4's! Also some that owned PS3's bought X1's! Wow what a concept, they don't immediately just follow a brand!
Also, this generation like the last one MS front loads their new system with games and support while Sony tends to be dry and supports it...

@outside as far as being a hater, I bought a launch day PS4 and traded it in June as the games and system did nothing for me. It offers nothing as of yet I can't easily make up for on my PC, WiiU or X1. When games come I want to play I will simply purchase another one. Just because someone doesn't feel the same way you do about your precious piece of plastic doesn't make them a hater.

Really, how would you call it obliteration when the X1 is outselling the 360 and the PS3 at this point in their lifecycles. The only company getting obliterated is Nintendo, sadly.

Where did you get that from, consoles? I don't consider 30fps the standard, especially on racing and fighting games. Game developers have done a nice job brainwashing you if you believe 30fps is acceptable.

I have to think because this is such a stupid move on MS's part that it also is to ensure that tons of these that were purchased over the holidays don't come back. I expect a permanent price drop in March.
I would rather have "secret sauce" then the blatant over hype from Sony, and the flat out lies. Why didn't they disclose the speed of the CPu for example, because its weaker than the X1's. They focus on the GPU and GDDR5 because that's all they have. A system design goes much further than the GPU, its how well everything works together that matters. The Sony boys just sucked up the drivel that Sony was spewing and like puppets started spewing it all over the web for them...
It would have been wise for Sony to target 900p as well. They have put 1080p over framerates which ruin the gaming experience. They simply wanted bragging rights. And yet, when Sony themselves produces a 1st party exclusive they themselves cant manage to hit 1080p/60. Yes the system is sliiightly more powerful, but it isn't the night and day difference those on here would have you believe. If you want bragging rights, build a PC and play games the way they were meant to be played.

The launch games for PS4 were trash, infamous was alright, DC was and is a joke with no features, and LBP as the big holiday release... it's obvious to a lot of people the things best feature is it can hold down a pile of paper and that's about it. If it ever gets anything good on it I would be happy to buy it again when it's $199

MS would be nuts to raise the price back up, period. Sony has the momentum though MS is fast gaining. Raise the price and they lose what they have worked for. All they will achieve is lower sales.

You actually make @thepope's statement for him. You're correct, a lot of sales were independent and many were supported by Sony and MS. Microsoft for example "officially" supported by offering a price cut of $50.00 and 2 Assassin's Creed games. Sony officially had GTAV and TLoU, no price cut.
