Many people don't realize how tough native 4k rendering actually is, you can't even use a GTX1080 Titan and expect 4k/60fps for every game. That's where checkerboarding the resolution comes in, you get like 90% of the image quality with 150% of the performance and you would have to be stupid to dismiss this as "fake chinese 4k" or "sub resolution assets". There is nothing in the realm of possibility that could "Even the Console War" at this point, the winner of this generation has been clear 4 years ago. Pretty much every game on this list have been cracked, at least the ones people care about. Some of them took longer but none of them is actually uncrackable... and Rime will probably be next.

^Well I kind of care because I'd like Microsoft to use their (basically limitless) resources to make good games instead of more subscription services and Halo. I'd gladly buy their consoles and games if they would offer anything special or unique but all they did for the past 5 years was disappointing or mediocre.
