Really hope this game is going to be good. It sure looks like a spiritual successor to the Gothic series, just hope they have finally fixed the horrible combat.

Well then let these guys enjoy it, doesn't change the fact that a majority of current-gen owners couldn't care less about it. On the other hand, if my console had BC but is missing good exclusives... I would quickly consider selling it.
I played hundred hours of Wipeout HD yet I'm enjoying this remaster just like it's a new game. I'm not a fan of remasters but in this case, it really does add to the experience :)
Yes, we actually need much more games like this. Cooperative games you can play with your wife, your kids and basically everyone else.

Most people have the "rest of the parts" in their existing rigs. My mainboard, CPU, RAM will easily hold for 4+ more years as I bought them future proof 3 years ago.
I buy all my games digitally, my PC doesn't even have a disc drive. It's much more convenient and I basically get a 2nd copy for free that my brother can play on his PS4. If they remove game sharing, I'll probably go back to physical though.
That hardware is not even special though. Now that Xbox exclusives also come out on PC, you'd actually be smarter to buy a much better GPU for the same price.

I call it common sense but you're free to disagree.
^If you have nothing in your lineup for months while your competition slaps you left and right, everything is pivotal. Just imagine how interesting this generation could've been if Microsoft would've concentrated on first party exclusives and new IP's instead of backwards compatibility, new subscription models, refund policies and a new console.
It's not even much better with BC actually.
I think BC hosts too many possible exploits for Sony to ever bother with it. It's just not worth risking your ecosystem for those few people that didn't abandon their old consoles when the new ones arrived.

As I was one of them I remember reading from many people that they will go Sony/Nintendo for this generation 3-4 years ago. It's actually the logical conclusion if you're looking for the most diverse as well as high quality gaming for your money. A PC is my third platform but it cost me three times as much as those consoles combined and gaming is not it's main use.
In the marketing world "strong" is way below amazing, incredible, overwhelming, etc.
