Isn't the Scorpios GPU equivalent to a RX480 with lower clock speed? If so I'd be careful with calling this a "true 4k machine", for most games you'll get 4k only at 30fps or medium settings.

For CoD I'd actually prefer that they simply create their own wars, why not about current geopolitical conflicts? It would have a much bigger social impact on our world and I would maybe even start buying their games again.
I think it needs one, but not necessarily right now. I want a full single player career where you can earn "money" and spend it to upgrade your car. There should be stats so that each car feels different to drive... but of course keep a tournament mode where every car is the same.
I called this a giant scam 2 years ago and got many disagrees. The devs have simply realized that they can milk this thing forever and that's exactly what they're doing :)

So people are supposed to keep buying Xbox consoles at this rate? Why would anyone do that if all you get is subscription based multiplayer games that only aim for your wallet through microtransactions? I already hated the fact that because of Microsoft, we had to start paying for online gaming - now they are taking things even further.
At this point I'm not even convinced that the GTX1080 Titan can easily handle future 4k games, which costs more than the Scorpio altogether. Sure it runs the current lineup fine but games in 2018 and beyond will probably need more than that. And the next step would be a Titan XP which costs at least 1200$.
It's not forbidden, it's just strange to prefer Xbox these days. We're not in 2008 anymore when there were quite a few good reasons to own a Xbox.
I don't see Microsoft beating anyone when it comes to first party titles, even iOS got better exclusives than Xbox this year.

lol jhoward585 what is wrong with you, are you high? Driveclub is an arcade racer with imaginary tracks and 30fps, GT is almost a completely different genre. Comparing the two does not make any sense, they have completely different audiences.
at solid 60fps you should add, awesome to have this kind of performance in our living rooms already
Yeah I guess Bayonetta is much better than Darksiders, but imo still overrated. I'm just not a fan of the art style, the characters and the crazy settings, the gameplay was more or less alright.

Nothing that actually has been confirmed yet tells you anything about the quality of the game, whoever wrote this article is a fanboy that probably said the same about every year's CoD. I appreciate the change of setting but I can already see people complaining about slow gameplay or boring weapons.
It seems like no journalist actually understands the reason behind these midgen upgrades - you do realize that the mass market 4k adaption has started during the last 24 months? There's probably not many other reasons for that so I wouldn't claim that this is going to be normal from now on.
