Isn't this BEAST talk getting old somehow? It's still a mid-range GPU that might never have the chance to shine due to Microsoft ignoring the real problem of the Xbox division, hyping a console reveal for 12 months and yet another Forza was the best thing they could come up with? The more you praise Microsoft for this ridiculuos support the lower are the chances they will ever change something... but I guess some people will never understand that.
And the counter argument has been brought up just as often - while you guys count pixels on 3rd party and indie games the competition offers one stellar 4k AAA exclusive after another. Sure you'll get a few more pixels but without a PS4 you are missing out on what gaming is actually about.
Except it plays nothing like an actual simulation, not even with all assists off. It's a mainstream pick up and play car game that somehow managed to convince people that it represents reality when even Assetto Corsa and Project Cars come closer to the real thing.
They are laughing for at least three years now. Just goes to show how much luck Microsoft had with the Xbox 360.
@moldy
It's pretty obvious that you have been dropped a few times as well that's why nobody is even arguing with you anymore.
Working at a big company I can assure you that many times, it's just that actual demand for new products was miscalculated or you have issues on the suppliers side which mostly come from China. These kind of products have many different components and sometimes even one of those (very often PCBA) needs to be in short supply to cause a 3-month stock-out.
Funny how many on here believe in conspiracies though.
No Trump is a giant waste of money. PS4 Pro on the other hand gave me Wipeout and Horizon in 4k which simply look spectacular - and Gran Turismo, God Of War, Days Gone and many more will be worth their money as well.
Well looking at the best rated exclusives even someone like you should accept the OPINION that Xbox couldn't compete for at least 5 years now
2017 Zelda
2016 Uncharted 4
2015 Bloodborne
2014 Super Smash Bros.
2013 The Last of Us
And it doesn't look like the next 2 years will be any different by what has been shown this week.
I'm not sure who needs the education here but it's clearly YOU who doesn't seem to understand that the resources Bethesda invests into Wolfenstein and all those other mediocre games would be much smarter spent on TES and Fallout. The developers just do what the publisher tells them to and from a pure business standpoint it would be smarter to make these devs work on projects that have some real financial impact. If you look at Bethesdas last 5 years you could easily wonder which o...
I was not saying they developed them, but Bethesda is the publisher who wastes resources on those projects that could be used for TES and Fallout.
Of course it's a place holder but simpletons around the world still don't understand how these work so we get these kind of articles approved every other week...
I mean, I don't care about views and social media activity... but this site seems to make money off that so it's kind of ridiculous to not mention these circumstances in your analysis :D
Since Sony has a much greater following in Europe than in the US I'm pretty sure most Europeans watched parts of their conference the next day (and certainly not on Twitch) instead of staying awake.
Kinda simple analysis, missing the fact that Ubisofts and Microsofts conferences were watchable at noon in Europe while Sonys is always in the middle of the night on a weekday, practically unwatchable for a whole continent.
"If what Sony is doing is holding back the industry, I'm scared to think what this industry would be doing without them..."
I have to add to that, just look at the last few years for EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Microsoft and many other big publishers - they primarily looked for ways to exploit the medium for maximum profit. Some released games too early, some built games around microtransactions, some sold the same game every year and some even sold content on th...
All good games but not quite as impressive as Horizon.
Yes and I mostly blame non-Playstation gamers for that. They were the ones complaining that Sony shows stuff "too early" in development when this was always the main reason people were excited for E3 in the first place.
Now at least we have PSX coming up which has proven to be even more important to Sony than E3.
^lmao at how our well known Xbox fanboys are in such a deep hole they already have to comfort each other
It certainly will, I preordered this in an instant even though I usually wait for reviews.
(it's 25% off for PS+ users and this week you also get back 15$ if you spend 100$ on the PS Store)
^No, you are free to check my comment history from 4 years ago. I always said exclusives are the most important for any console, that's why I even bought a shitty Wii U instead of a Xbox. I don't care for pixels, that's what my PC is for - but it's funny how you guys always feel offended by the truth you try to ignore.
