This is intercepting web cam video feeds, meaning when the video data passes government servers.
This has nothing to do with Kinect and any webcam software can be intercepted even if it is encrypted. Any webcam traffic from your smart phone to your laptop is susceptible to this.

The digital sales has been gaining ground significantly in recent times so this will continue to accelerate!
In 5 years time, discs will be "stone age" technology similar to CDs.
No this is NOT the last console generation, but the next one might. It depends on the worlds internet infrastructure and if consumers will still be resistent to an online only console.
Let's hope not so we can move into the future instead of sticking to the stone age technology like discs!

It doesn't improve gaming, in fact it does the exact opposite!
Introduces heavy compressions artifacts, laggy controls and likely has a fat price tag on it. With my local GameStop and a cheap used console, I can play it without any of those issues and not have to pay to rent the game!
I want the cloud to assist games in some way that isn't doable now like driveatars. ...
I suspect this will be this years biggest game, and one of the major ips of this generation.
The consumer feedback and the fun we had with it, all supports this. Cannot wait!!!
MS already has technology to prevent that so no worries.
Gears and Mass Effect were the games I had the most fun with next to Wii Sports and Kinect Sports!

PS4 outselling Xbox One is due to release in far many more regions. If you take region by region, the gap isn't near that.
The PS4 released at launch in almost 3 times the region of Xbox One so if it isn't outselling Xbox One by a sizeable number I would be wondering!

Isn't it obvious, that if a person has no care for shooters since Halo 2, mind you, wouldn't click on a shooter article about this years biggest game.
Generally things get better, not worse with optimization. That's the point of it!
The beta ran at 792p and was quite playable, so either things get better or stay the same. Don't see why they would drop the frame rate.
Also, CBOAT and the BS again? Pacther is more reliable that CBOAT!

Unfortunately, that risk is very high and might require many attempts before you may get one successful ones.
It might just be cheaper to buy your way into innovation, when it strikes.
It is far easier for MS as a public company to justify a buy, than to innovate, fail and try again.

Also, it is the only current generation console you can play Titanfall on. That alone makes it the gaming console!

Resolution is blown out of proportion when the Xbox 360 had the highest resolution of consoles. Back then, "power" had more sway, and as each generation passes the "power" becomes less and less important, because of diminishing returns.
We just had 10x jump in power and frankly, the difference between last generation and current generation is harder to tell. Games won't drastically be different either.

that is because resolution isn't as important as artwork to "good" graphics.
right now it is just fangirls and people latching onto easy things to compare too. No amount of graphics will give you Titanfalls without MS and the cloud.
Point being, the most anticipated game so far and likely for the year says screw resolution, and so did CoD and went on to be the greatest game with CoD4: MW.
when it comes down to it, everything is 'cumbersome' or limited in some way.
The GPU, CPU, the hard drive and everything about a computer is 'cumbersone', limited and bottlenecked in some way.
I spend $400-500 for games like Titanfall or ability to make the console the center of my entertainmemt with Netflix, TV and the like.
Indies is just icing on the cake, that I don't bother with 99% of the time. I don't mind them, think they are important, but don't usually care about them.
