@neo

Forza isn't just 1080p, but is also 60fps. DriveClub on PS4 was aiming for 60fps, but was at 30fps a month before release....

If others can't do what Turn 10 does, then don't blame the hardware.

Titanfall has amazing game play vertically and horizontally. That keeps me playing all day long over more content and cr@ppier games.

BF4 lacks a good single player campaign and the servers are sh!tty as hell. In fact, it is atrocious, but you would rather have that, right?

A less than mediocre campaign, and a multiplayer you can barely play, but hey it has LOTS of content!

:D

What about the controller already sold?

Sony isn't taking those back....

The fact that this is targeting mobile tells a how lot.

Going from Windows Vista, to Windows 7 and then again to Windows 8, the difference is dramatic.

Windows 8 targeting mobile with essentially a microkernel has made huge strides in performance.

SO DX12 targeting mobiles, should mean it will be extremely efficient. With the software muscle of MS, and what do you think MS will achieve if a crappy driver/software developer like AMD is able ...

this game sold more than many hardcore games so no you are not a minority.

You are only a minority on n4g.

I liked Kinect Sports.

It seems like everything MS does, there is some *rumor* by the usual crowd that it won't be good or is bad in some way.

There are some really desperate people out, they usually congregate on n4g and neogaf.

Titanfall on Xbox One is all I play now. Heck, I play even more now because it is so addictively good.

I stopped playing Gears of War and switched over. CoD was good, but I played it mostly for single player and co-op... but Titanfall got me hooked on Domination like Gears of War got me hooked on Capture the Point.

I'm surprised people are claiming that a multiplayer game doesn't offer as much value as a single player game, when a multiplayer game off...

Now that EA has the IP, it can do another deal with MS again and make it exclusive again too.

That said, it likely takes longer than 2 years to do another sequel.

Even CoD with breakneck pace of release and massive funds, requires massive amount of outside help to get the annual release and two year development cycle.

"LMAO! So that's what Xbox fans are looking forward to these days? Not games with epic stories and characters and gameplay, but network response times? Hahaha, wow. You are all about dat Kool-Aid aren't you?"

Enjoy your P2P flagship game of KZ: Shadowfall with deep story line and intriguing game play. That is why it is sitting at 78% on metacritic.

I will enjoy my buttery smooth multiplayer game with cloud support. ...

This is n4ps4 and is same with neogaf and thuway and his croonies. Even the mods are all former Playstation fangirls. Pay attention to the people with a lot of bubbles that eventually go silent starts submitting a lot of stories and suddenly is a mod.

That said, most developers in general do not have a preference, and care more about having their games played on as many platforms as possible.

I hope the game delivers, otherwise there will be drought of games until Watchdog on PS4.

That said, the game looks gorgeous graphically.

Meanwhile this is the second major feature update for Xbox One:

http://n4g.com/news/1476669...

This is the sort of thing I hated on the PS3. Constant updates, with almost non-existant features that is a hassle when I wanted to play.

At least now the hassle is taken away with stand-by mode, b...

I will wait for more reviews, but I expect there to be some review bias simply because MGS is a such a huge franchise. When it gets 8 out of 10, it does seem low considering bias.

Will wait, after all the VALUE is ridiculous. This seems to have the content of a DLC and should be no more than $15-20 tops!

If it had a multiplayer mode I would get super addicted to, then it would be well worth even $60!

I think Kinect is an integral part of Xbox platform, and would never wish it to be parted, even if that lowers the cost.

Part of the appeal of the platform is motion control, voice activation and recognition. Why do you think the PS4 camera is outsold and prices raised despite having even less support?

If you don't want it, go to PS4. Don't ruin my platform, because right now Kinect will continue to get more and more support. Unbundling would mean les...

Which is actually worse!

Jack was forced out of his position, and was essentially demoted. If he was promoted, Sony would have announced that.

Marc Whitten had another job laid out, but in either case it is not positive when long time leaders change. However, it might be good for management in the long run to have new fresh takes.

I really liked Marc Whitten though next to Phil Spencer and that other Phil Harrison. Sad to see him go, and hope...

I believe that is in-going port on the server side that is port 80, not on the client side.

I.e. the web browser opens up any port, let say 5000, connects to port 80 on web server, and webserver responds via port 80 (if you may) to port 5000 on client device.

That is at least how almost all other apps communicate over a network, otherwise it gets crowded on the port. What app does the packet go to if there are multiple apps sharing one port?

The problem was the constant interruption to download an almost meaningless almost featureless update on PS3. To top it off it was cumbersome with multiple screens to pass, and then wait a long @ss time for the update to download. Then there are multiple patches for the game. Yes, in many instances it wasn't just download the latest game patch.

creatchee put it best where updates were frequent, large, took forever to install, and barely had features.

MS is on the roll. Amazing that they are able to push out monthly updates. This is what makes Xbox great.

MS evolved the Xbox 360 so much this past generation that by the time Xbox One was out, it was no longer just a gaming console, but a multimedia all in one box already for me.

Although I understand Sony, and the consumer, this is an engineering mistake by Sony. The controller should never control two devices at once!

That is common sense.

The sensible thing here by Sony is offer a refund on customer first call despite the ToS in my opinion. It would go a long way to put customers at ease.

Customers definitely do NOT expect to control two devices at once.
