What it means is that Xbox One will not have problems like the PS3 (and potentially PS4) with being supposed more powerfull than Xbox 360, yet cannot have party chat or cross game chat!
That is after the PS3 after much optimization had a memory footprint of 48MB RAM for the OS (from a massive 100+ MB RAM), whereas the Xbox 360 always only used 32 MB RAM.

One game, could be the one game you play throughout the generation.
For instance, Gears of War and Mass Effect were two games I consistenty played throughout the Xbox 360 lifecycle.
That said, what about Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising 3, Halo, Project Spark and so on?
That should be enough reason to buy an Xbox One in my opinon!
I loved the original Bioshock even though I hated the era. More of a modern times and sci fi kind of guy, but darn Bioshok was fantastic.
Unfortunately, I was somewhat dissappointed with Bioshock 2, and so far with Bioshock Infinite as well.
The greatness of the original Bioshock was the surprising story, the world, the creepiness and the awesome game mechanics.
The later games were only able to recapture the game mechanics.
I have never heard of anyone making a console purchase based on sized, heck, not even looks.
It has always been about games, and what the console offers.
Depending on what MS is willing to do, I think the split will be more even than people think excluding Japan of course.
Sony obviously got the hold on the Japanese market with their bias.
As the generation goes on though, the Xbox One will get closer and closer in price to PS4, where their price advantage will be erased.
A similar thing happened with the PS3 and Xbox 360.
I think the more accurate saying is, PS4 is the one with the least supply.
I love new IPs, but I also love existing franchises. Do a mix of both, and bring us another Gears of War!

I loved Gears of War: Judgment and I loved Gears of War 3, so I would freaking jump on the next Gears.

With MS cloud (Azure), and the alpha, I think the game will launch to very little hickup.
Remember, this is the people behind CoD. The same people that released CoD4: Modern Warfare, which from my recollection was a surprise hit and didn't have much problems at all. Xbox Live almost never go down, and is updated on the fly. No taking down for maintenaince cr@p.
Last of Us is certainly a game worthy of GOTY title, but so are others.

Fact of the matter are, MS:
* released one week after PS4 so it stands to reason that Sony sold more in November.
* MS sold more consoles in the US, because they have bigger stock in the US. Likely, significantly better than PS4 due to stock shortages
* PS4 sold better worldwide, due to being out in almost 3-4 times the number of countries. So the lead of one million consoles would average out to roughly thirty thousand consoles sold in each region to make up ...
Doesn't matter what the focus is, because in the end it is what you use the console for!
For instance, I like core games especially the online kind, Kinect Fitness, party games with the family, and the TV features.
I also get Titanfalls, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, and a host of other games, so I'¨m happy.

It was also hinted strongly that the Titanfalls would come to PS4, but we know what happened there.
Point being, it can swing either way and either way, I will enjoy this game in March on Xbox One.
