This will be epic.
A First Person Shooter focusing on utilizing every component in your PC to its maximum potential, leaving out Multiplayer to focus exclusively on a non-stop action packed Single Player experience in a steampunk universe.
Bring it on Flying Wild Hog!
Yes!
Battlefield for it's large scale combat with veichles and jets! 64 players longdrawn warfare in very nice graphics.
Modern Warfare 3 for its fast pace, action filled city combat.
1. You didn't explain how it can be a reason. How is Battlefield any refreshing from BF:BC2? It's the same game with renewed graphics and veichular combat. Obviously, if two CoD games can become #1 and #2 most sold games two years in a row, people like what it has to offer. Prove me wrong.
2. CoD's playerbase is definately not the "worst". Check League of Legends, Check Heroes of Newerth, check Counter-Strike and you are up there and beyond by miles.
"There are lots of other games coming out"
- Is that, a reason?
"Too many idiot online players"
- Everygame has too many idiot online players.
"The game will be hacked and full of cheaters within days"
- Name me one successfull FPS without cheats @ the first week.
Really, what the hell.
The last two years, Activision had the best selling First Person Shooters of all time - What moaning?
Facebook Poker & Farmville together has more daily users than every single video game on Xbox in a week.
Why do you keep saying "kids, enjoy the same game". I played Battlefield 2 and BF3 is nothing alike it. It's Bad Company 3, with slightly improve graphics.
If anything is a re-hash, it's BFBC3.
Comeback? What? When was the PC ever a dying platform. It's more alive now, than ever.
Yes, less PC's are sold - due to Tablets and Android-phones, that is home PC's however. PC gaming is still alive and better going than ever.
Gamefront, bad site is bad.
What competition? Battlefield 3?
Haha. Battlefield might be ages ahead of the Modern Warfare franchise concerning graphics and engine capabilities, yet - gameplay is not even close to becoming as fast pace and involving as any Call of Duty game.
If your friend works 3 jobs and can not afford internet on top of his rent and electric bills, tell your friend to get a new apartment, a new electricity company and he will be able to.
By the way, working three jobs pretty much invalidates his chances to play games anyways, bubbls down for trolling.
Every first world country has internet on the train, i do not see the point either. If you wish to play games "on-the-go", invest in a handheld machine like Wii U, PS Vita or Nintendo 3DS.
They do this so that you can use your single-player character in a multiplayer environment to ensure you did not cheat or x8 the single-player experience and then moved to multiplayer.
If you weren't so undereducated, you might have catched this detail.
You may not see a huge difference, I personally thougth there was an incredibly difference between the CoD4-Quake engine and the MW2-Quake engine.
Pretty sure it is limited to partial destruction. Atleast that is what the DEV's say. No complete destruction of any player in Multiplayer, partial destruction so every building still have a "scructure", backbone or whatever u may call it.
Expansion Packs: $60
Four times yearly DLC: $60 (I assume their DLC is 12,50 or 15,00 dollars EA?)
Colour me surprised. I was sure that the consoles would have much better graphics than the PC version!
- Wait....
If you love blowing stuff?
- I certainly do not!
I do not agree with him. $60 is not alot of money to cash out on a video game. I have paid $0.10/hour for Heroes of Newerth over a period of one year. That is absolutely nothing for the amount of fun I have achieved in that game.
What IS a "shit ton of money" is the minor DLC packs games release afterwards. Keep games DLC-free and continue with a $60 pricing.
I agree. Each quarter we hear about a new NCSoft MMO. Their MMO's simply aren't interesting. They flop over and over and continue to deliver mediocre content.
Juggernauts would hardly be killable in the MW2 campaign if you played on Veteran or above. I doubt they would "fit in" at all.
