Mine is coming in September. And I pre ordered on day one. Handhelds are the only way I can finish long games. I got "lucky" finishing FF7R on PS4 because Covid in 2020 gave me 2 weeks off to beat the game. I plan on picking up Elden Ring as soon as I get my deck, and also Persona 5 royal.
For smaller games (especially indies), cross play saves the community.
There's a story?
There are consumers (casual of course) that specifically purchased Xbox because of Xbox game pass and there's even a handful that purchased Xbox game pass because of xcloud (and they don't even have a console).
I've been specifically waiting for the full launch before diving in so I look forward to trying it in September.
Unfortunately, these days gaming companies like to patch in shady mechanics post launch.
@Ryushaa, I stand corrected. But for the record, it was also removed from the physical version of Vice City for PC as well. If you purchased before the patch, then you can downgrade the game to get the original songs back. If you purchased after the patch, you have no means of playing the original songs. This applies to both the physical and digital versions. Rockstar gonna Rockstar.
Um what? Pre existing digital versions do not get altered after the fact because of copyright laws, trademarks, or someone's feelings lol. Yes, physical games need to continue to exist but that's mainly so consumers can continue to have options.
Didn't even notice that. That is odd. But PS4 is better tech than the Xbox One so it gives them a higher lowest common denominator.
No Mercy was the best for multi-player. Smack down had the best career mode. Saturday night slam masters was the best arcade-like wrestling game. Still waiting for that one to hit the NSO.
It's funny how much we all like SA2 even though 4/6 of its levels were terrible. But they had great songs though and an amazing Tamagotchi mini game.
Yes you could apply that to any game. I don't disagree. Triangle Strategy has a far more engrossing narrative and innovative combat than Pokémon Sword. I haven't played SMT V but from what I seen, it is also worth its asking price. But I certainly wouldn't say it's a higher quality than Triangle Strategy. Just a different type of game.
It's not about the looks. It's about the content. The graphics do look nice and stylized, but if you've played the games, you can see the quality that they put in to them.
Xbox fans complained when MS tried to double the price of gold with no added value. No DLC for PS3 games isn't even close to that.
So... Only Gaas games can be successful without Metacritic? I hope that's not the takeaway.
Metacritic is just fuel for console wars. People don't rely on Metacritic for individual game purchases. Only to say that: "My plastic console had more 90+ Metacritic games than yours."
Yall are acting like Persona is a technically demanding game. It isn't. It can be released for Switch and PS4 and Xbox One.
Are we really complaining about the "home Xbox" setting again or am I misunderstanding? Literally, every console won't allow you to play your digital games while offline unless it's set as your home/primary console. I think the Nintendo Switch is actually the worst as it seems to require a manual check every hour or so. If your Xbox is set as your home Xbox, you can play every digital game previously installed while offline. Same with Playstation. Same with the Nintendo Swit...
I played through Sonic 3 and Knuckles on Xbox and I don't recall any of the music being different from the Genesis original.
That makes at least 2 of us that don't know the difference between remakes and remasters. While we're at it, let's discuss how confusing the terms: rogue like, roguelite, and rougelike are.
