I might play some more Mario Odyssey right now.
Most Mario games start easy and then get harder, or have collectibles that can be very challenging to get. None of the 3D marios have been as difficult as Mario 64, with its strict timing for wall jumps and stiffer jumps. But most of the Mario platformers are really good platformers.
My biggest issue with the Steam deck is that it's still a PC. I don't game on PC as I don't have a gaming pc, so I was planning on using the steam deck as my gaming pc.
So here's a recent story. I went to go play some game I had (and never played) on my steam deck. I wander onto the community page. Oh look, there's all these neat mods that makes the game so much better. I download the mods. Run the game. It crashes. I tweak the mods, make some more chan...
The steam deck is nice, but it's not very casual friendly. The Switch is definitely the better device for a casual gamer, and if you're a pc gamer, you already know about the steam deck without advertising.
@Flawlessmic,
I agree with Sony letting the studios work on what they want. And those are great IPs that they made, but those IPs do not replace the ones that were lost. Jak and sly Cooper were great alternatives to Banjo Kazooie. Killzone and Socom were also great shooter IPs. It would be nice to bring those back even if it was a different studio that made it happen.
There's gotta be someone out there willing to revive those games, they can lend out ...
Number of active users is more important than number of subscriptions. Spot on.
Selling to more people means selling more games, accessories, etc. Selling more to the same person does not translate to more games, accessories, etc. And yes number of laps / bullets fired is irrelevant lol.
Units sold really isn't the best metric for anyone other than investors. And even there, revenue is a better metric since that will affect profit much more than units sold. For developers looking to support a console, the number of users matters far more than units sold. If someone bought 3 switches (which I know some that have, gotta buy them all), they're not going to buy a particular game on the Switch 3 times. They'll buy it once or not at all, so in this case, units sold isn&...
My team is probably 30% female and 70% male. Most of us have been working together for 7+ years. Those who leave only do so for greener pastures. There have been 0 issues. The point is that males and females can work together. It's not hard. It just requires discipline and common sense.
Thanks. When I make millions from being a shoddy journalist. I'll give you credit for starting my adventure.
I pre-ordered the PS VR 2. And I don't even have a PS5 yet lol.
"A proprietary removable drive will always be married to the device it was originally installed on."
You do realize we're talking about a blu ray drive right? That thing that you put discs into? You will absolutely be able to take a blu ray drive from one PS5 and use it on another. I have an external DVD drive for my laptop that works on multiple laptops. That's the whole point of external disc drives.
Welp. It might be time for me to buy a PS5. I wanted to hold out for the detachable disc drive version, but this review makes PSVR2 sound really good
As a gamer, P2W in video games can disappear forever and nothing of value would be lost.
But if you look at actual sports, it is very much pay to win.
Need the best gear and the best trainers and the best diets, and the best 'supplements' to compete in football, basketball, boxing, MMA, golf, etc.
Any plans for cross play for monster hunter rise?
Magic... Ew. I want big mighty swings all day!
^ It wouldn't make Sony hypocrites. They'd be fighting fire with fire.
I mean with all that money, why can't they just give Activision a few billion instead of 70 and have a good chunk of their games on game pass anyway?
🤔
@Giblet_Head
LOL, I'm very curious which part of my comment history made you think I'm a troll.
But to answer your question re: modding. I believe the mods should have worked together. I think there was only 2 or 3 I was trying to use, but there were lots of settings involved per mod. It wasn't just download and go.
EDIT: I just looked at your own comment history. Calling me a troll is funny. Your comments are very aggressi...
