I don't understand this argument. If you already have the DLC, you can still use it. If the game is physical, the online is still not going to work. The only thing being lost is access to online (which may include access to any online related DLCs). This is the same result whether you purchased physically or digitally. Please tell me which part of this: "additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable” doesn't affect their physical games. None. It affects all of their games equally.
This literally has zero to do with digital games and is really just an Ubisoft issue. Either way, most people will tell you that "all digital" is not the future. Digital and physical should always be options.
Personally, I don't care what people talk about, but the idea that a developer has to make the game you want them to make doesn't sit well with me. No one can speak for everyone. If the fans don't want it, then they won't play it, and it won't be made again.
If no one's playing it, that's all the message they need. The rest is just noise.

It's a F2P game. If it's not your thing, don't play it. I don't plan on touching it at all. I like most of Nintendo's games but I haven't touched a single one of their mobile titles and have no intention of doing so. No need to drag them through the mud for trying something different. (There are other reasons to drag them through the mud, but this ain't it)
The only concern about Game pass is what happens to it when Phil is no longer in charge. Do they become significantly less consumer friendly or does it maintain the status quo? Same concerns I have for Steam tbh. When Steam changes leadership, the potential to pull the rug becomes greater. Hopefully, both of them have good successors.
