Microsoft had high quality 1st party content in the 360 era. In the Xbox one era, they completely lost themselves and chose to milk what worked in the 360 era and that's why people don't expect much from Microsoft. They haven't delivered quality games in a long time. Up until recently, the last Microsoft title that was even in consideration for game of the year was Gears of War 3 back in 2011.

Alternatively, it's a home console that can "optionally" be played in your hands. Feature wise, it's got everything you would expect from a home console: 4 player couch co-op being the biggest one. While also having everything you would expect from a handheld. So, yes it is a home console and also a handheld. Which is why it's referred to as a hybrid.
This isn't about being able to check for renewal. That option already exists. This is about proactively notifying customers that their subscription is about to renew and providing instructions within that notification of how to cancel the subscription. Additionally, subscribers who aren't using the service will automatically have their subscription cancelled. This is big and every subscription service should do this.
Really it's the battle system that I would've liked to have seen overhauled more. I think Arceus probably would have turned out much better if it was developed by Bandai Namco.

^ And here we have an example of where options lead to confusion. If it works for steam navigation, it should also work for Steam games. These extra steps just aren't necessary when playing on a console. Don't get me wrong. For people that enjoy tinkering and customizing their experience, PC is great and wonderful. But I'm a hard working husband and father of two. I'd much rather spend my limited time just playing and not customizing my experience.

I have a PC. I very rarely play games on it. A few months ago, I decided to try to play one of my older Steam games from back in the day: Bastion. I plugged in my controller. I could use my controller to navigate the menus in steam. I selected the game: Bastion. The game booted. And it wouldn't respond to my controller. So I hopped off and started playing on my Switch instead. As a busy person, I don't have time to be troubleshooting PC issues.
I prefer console because I have very limited gaming time and don't want to spend any of it troubleshooting why a specific game or peripheral isn't working properly.
If Xbox sold less hardware and less software in 2021 than Playstation. How is that doing better than Playstation?
It's never been 1$ for me. I always have to buy one month for $15. Normally I just do one year at a time. So $60 for one year of gold, then $15 for one month of game pass ultimate and I get 13 months of game pass ultimate for a total of $75.
Agreed. Once my sub runs out in the next couple of months, I'm buying 3 years of gold to convert to Gamepass. I probably won't be able to afford Gamepass after those 3 years are up.
