I haven't played a PS plus game since Gauntlet. I get plenty of use from GWG. Mostly to play 360 games that I never played.

Almost every console has had terrible launches in terms of the amount of quality games. If Nintendo has a diverse lineup of 1sr party titles, it could have a very good launch. The only console I feel that was actually worth getting at launch was the GameCube.
The Wii U did not have a Mario game of the same scale of Mario Galaxy. The closest was 3d world which was basically just a 4 player version of 3d land.
@gamerswin, comparing the psp go to the Nintendo Switch is like comparing the 1st mp3 player to the iPod. It may not be completely original, but it takes it to a whole new level.
