Kinect and PS move would've taken longer to be a thing. PS move might have been even better (technologically) as it would've probably been made for Vr and not to compete with wiimotes.

They have to announce it before the PS4 pro drops, otherwise some people might get ps4 pros that may have been willing to get an NX. Especially those people that already have a vanilla PS4.
