Not true. The Switch isn't out yet. There is still time for them to release another video with actual gameplay footage that may or may not equal the quality of their first video.
Reviews before day one don't make much sense these days with massive day one patches. It sucks that it means consumers will have to wait for reviews instead of buying day one, but it's probably for the best.
You think the switch is going to sell 500k consoles in 1-2 years or am I misinterpreting your comment?
Edit : Wait are you saying 16m in 2 years? I would put a more likely scenario to be somewhere in the middle.
You can't call yourself a serious gamer if you're not at least curious about what Nintendo is doing. While, I'm excited at what the Switch may be, I recognize that many of those viewers may be disappointed.
Time is a huge limiting factor for me, but I still own all consoles and will continue to do so. When I have the time to play, I want to be able to play whatever game I'm interested in regardless of what console it's on. Will I get to play every great game on each console? No. But I do play what I want, when I get the time to do so. Some games I've even bought on multiple consoles just to play with different sets of friends.
If the Galaxy S7 can do VR, why not the Switch?
I'm sure you can attach a usb 3.0 external hard drive. And it won't kill portability at all. /s
They did a bad job of that, since they didn't tell anyone how many pennies they need to save.
Nintendo really needs to follow up with some information else Sony is taking all the consumers' money with the VR and Pro and people won't have any money left when the switch drops.
If Nintendo wants people to buy at launch, they need to know what they're saving for.
"leaks", which is really mostly hoaxes and speculation.
@gb, when I buy a car, I don't care about the horse power, I just care about how it drives. Same applies to consoles. I just care how it plays games. Specs will obviously affect performance, but if it feels good, then obviously the specs are good enough.
Xbox play anywhere (maybe)
Sorry, it sounded like you were complaining about the review's comment that it didn't make them sick.
Yes. Angry Birds and Candy Crush are the saviors of handheld gaming.
Well, if I played GTAV and then got a seizure, would it be appropriate for me to rate it as 1/10 because it gave me a seizure (even after the warning that if you are prone to seizures, you should not play this game?)
Not everyone can handle VR, and if you're one of those that can't, then you probably shouldn't be reviewing it.
Hey guys, red dead found its way into Skylanders!
Closer to 8 feet if you have walls in your home. Sorry I don't live in a football stadium.
@Shin, in order to borrow something, someone must give you permission to borrow it. Without permission, it is stealing, even if you eventually return it.
Haven't played this in awhile, but this is a great game for anyone who enjoys competitive Smash bros. The netcode is much better than what you'll find in Smash 4 or Brawl. It also provides a very in depth tutorial for learning the advanced skills.
"Oh, son wants to watch Disney junior, I'll just make my switch portable."
That said there are many more use cases other than sharing a TV, as shown in the video.
