Take all the time you need, 100% faith after Witcher 3.
Yes.
Why can't they complain?
The Lost Legacy and Frozen Wilds say hi. They are so rare now, support them.
@Shottyatlaw
Then they are just selling a cheap PC, not a real console, the last thing I want to happen is consoles upgrade like smart phones, where developers have to spend their time optimizing their games over multiple generations, where upgrade become generic because they always have to be backward compatible, that is why I don't game on my PC and focus on consoles only.
@Unspoken
Love how you guys just pick the game work for your argument, of course you have to pick Killzone this gen instead of Horizon.
Continue to twist other people words and make yourself feel better. MS is ruining console gaming and you guys think it is a good thing... consoles was always about exclusive (that's what define a good console, they are selling a platform, not steam box) and iterative generation upgrades, and MS is trying to take away ...
So consoles became PC, how is that a good plan? New console generation always mean first party developers can focus on one single hardware, create fully optimized masterpieces... Oh.... I understand why Xbox fans don't mind now, since there won't be one single title that would push the hardware that way because all first party games will be on windows 10...
@Vasto
What an awesome list of games, have fun :) /s
Popcorns had been ready and served repeatedly over the last 4 years already, PS4 owners have been enjoying better graphic and popcorn ever since this generation has started, sorry that you guys need to pay another $500 just to get past 1080p, enjoy the graphic leads, busy finishing up shadow of war and then start playing Frozen Wilds in 2 days :)
@moldybread
What is your point? And what are you trying to achieve? Wii U failed with games so the new success formula is no games? Is that how your brain works? So MS doesn't produce more exclusive games make you very happy? Congrats, more MS fans like you will ensure no more quality AAA for XBox ever, you get your perfect no games console, Jesus. You make me sick.
The difference is, there are some PS4 games on PC, none of the first parties AAA will be on PC. But for XBox, every first party game will be available on PC. I don't understand, instead of encourage MS to make more exclusives that fully utilizes the so called "beast", to have some first parties title that can match Sony's... you guys just want to downplay the obviously doing well competitor to lower the quality of the whole gaming industry.
It is hard when you have too many games to show. Might be easier for some other consoles.
If a developer decided to move on, perhaps they ran out of ideas to keep it fresh at the moment, it is always good to take a break, otherwise the series will just crash and burn and never shows up again. We should all encourage developers to try something new, that's why we have so many amazing series throughout the years, The Last of Us and Horizon are two very good examples.
I really love the freedom Sony gives to all their developers, new IP consistently... imagine if they are all XBox first parties... then we would be playing Crash 10, Infamous 6, Killzone 7, Ratchet and Clank 9 until all ideas dry up and then close the studios
lol, really? Still playing Ori? Is that the only example you guys can think of?
The differences are Sony promoted The order 1886 well but it was an average game, lacking in contents, developer's fault. But Sunset overdrive was an highly rated game, just MS didn't cherish a good exclusive when they have it.
I don't agree, I am sure Sony knew The Last Guardian wouldn't sell that well, they still gave them all the time they needed to develop it (10 years) because they know the fans (people who supported their consoles all these years) want it, MS would have pulled the plug at year 2. And that's the passion for games that not many publishers understand.
So, you think as a Spiderman game, if you need to target every single web you shoot out manually with a cursor, that would be a good game design?
@RegorL
You don't need to try it to know it sucks when you are paying $40 for steak and fries, and then realize you need to pay another $10 to unlock the fries, plus $3 for the ketchup, $3 for the utensils and the $1 for the napkin.
