Gas price has increased by 400% since 1997, and I remember I had to pay $85 for a new game back then, right now, it is $90... I seriously don't know what to complain about. Yes, some games that already have tons of microtransactions should have their cost covered, but what about games that don't? Or should we punish those developers because some developers are being a dick with MTX?

From the article, it does seems like the developer is saying both PS5 and XBox Series S/X are getting the same sort of updates, but one you can play with previous save and one cannot though.

I am a huge Sony fanboy, but this is a little bothering me, hope it is case by case basis and doesn't affects some of my favourite games. I don't play Man-eater, but I would imagine me wanting to play some games that I invested a lot of time in, such as Witcher 3 or even newer title like the last of Us 2 or ghost, I don't want to completely start over when I play them on PS5.
When you trying hard enough, anything can be bad news. We can praise the developer for making the effort to update facial expression, or we can act like they killed our dogs. And sadly a bunch of us chose the latter, making sure there are enough hatred and negativity to go around, as if 2020 isn't bad enough.
Gamers are too bored these days, always find a new thing to complain each day... instead of trusting the developer that made some of the best game this gen, they have to sound like they have insider info of what happened.

I have noticed that as well, so many negative articles for no reason. They can totally explain why some saves are not compatible, which has a legit reason like N4GTG said. They might as well call themselves "PressCircle" as in cancel/reject. What a garbage site they have become.
The fast load time would also makes them a little less punishing as well.

Exactly, I don't know what people want? Play the ps5 remaster on your PS4? You get to play your PS4 version on your ps5, that's the BC people are asking for. The remaster for $20 is for showing appreciation to people that buy the Spiderman: MM.

They would only do it if they are earning money, no one pointing a gun to our heads to subscribe or use these cloud gaming services. But they are smart, they make people think they have no choice and this is the only way to go. How it is more awesome...

Might need to subscrib to 5-6 services to play all your favourite games, with no option to just buy a physical or even a digital copies. All games become intentionally dragged on, with more grinding and perhaps more episodes, just so you stay on the subscription for longer.

Exactly, I can't imagine someone who care about the game enough that they need the remaster so bad but doesn't want the sequel at all. They are contradicting themselves and just trying to find issues from nothing.
I believe the original Spiderman can still be played on PS5 with improved frame rate and resolution. Just not getting the remastered version for free which a lot more additional efforts were put into.
So, hard work get compensated, I don't see what is wrong behind that logic.

I am from Canada, and it is exactly due to currency exchange, people just have to make it sounds like it is bigger deal than it is, that $90 is CAD, not USD.
