Doesn't guns get more repetitive than melee weapons with combo? Guns, you reload, aim, and shoot, the only differences are the bullets that came out of the guns.
With melees, you can easily have, spears, swords, whips like weapons, axe and tons more.
Not saying godfall is better or not compares to those games you mentioned, I just find melee weapons a lot more interesting than guns.

I actually think dual sense would work for PS4 games but just can't connect to a PS4. consider they are giving everyone like 15 free PS4 games at the launch of PS5, it can't assume everyone has a DS4, some people might be new to ps or simply have sold the PS4 with controller prior to ps5 launch, the controller while greatly improved they basically have all the same buttons too, so it shouldn't be hard.
Which game isn't repetitive if they keep showing you the same sequence over and over again? Not that I have solid reason to defend this game, it is just frustrating to see gamers hate a game before it is even released, zero respect to everyone who worked hard on the game, be it this one or any other game.
How can you tell it is shallow and repetitive from few minutes of gameplay? And if the game looks good to you, maybe find out why internet is required? And what is the big deal?

Shadow of the tomb raider is not aging well, even with 4k hdr, the skins are like plastic, something very off from these characters texture.

Gas price has increased by 400% since 1997, and I remember I had to pay $85 for a new game back then, right now, it is $90... I seriously don't know what to complain about. Yes, some games that already have tons of microtransactions should have their cost covered, but what about games that don't? From the article, it does seems like the developer is saying both PS5 and XBox Series S/X are getting the same sort of updates, but one you can play with previous save and one cannot though.

I am a huge Sony fanboy, but this is a little bothering me, hope it is case by case basis and doesn't affects some of my favourite games. I don't play Man-eater, but I would imagine me wanting to play some games that I invested a lot of time in, such as Witcher 3 or even newer title like the last of Us 2 or ghost, I don't want to completely start over when I play them on PS5.
It is shallow because it was announced in Sony's showcase, and it is not clear if it is timed exclusive. If it is announced as an XBox exclusive, then it is the deepest game in this universe.
