Quote from the article
"Similar to Xbox Series X, there can be the odd one-frame drop, but where I found PS5 smoother is in areas where I saw some significant stutter on the Microsoft machine. "
I don't believe significant stutter means 1 or 2 frames.
I feel like it is time for naughty dog to announce something as well
It does look fun, bow and co-op always sounds fun to me.
I was going to get the game, this news just changed my mind.
My only complain is that I wish it would be longer, I know it is not short in R&C standard, just can't get enough of it.
Awesome game, can't stop playing until I am at the credit screen.
Started challenge mode with left and right flipped to keep it fresh, but somehow the audio is not flipped, so I can't position the enemies just by audio, which makes it very hard to maintain the 20x multipliers, might need to disable the flip until I get e...
Even if it takes one day longer you would have complained. Just go back to your SX, don't even know why you care how well a PS5 runs at all.
I can see a lot of MP games players drop massively when it leaves game pass, is that a valid concern?
A lot of games I go back 6 months later because the developers added new content, not because not because I paid another $15 x 6 = $90 on subscription.
If I don't replay the game unless it is on gamepass, the problem is on the game.
Because Sony is not dumb enough to drive up the consoles cost just so a tiny portion of us can play old games. You guys don't care about game preservations, you just need something attack Sony with. XBox can BC easily because it is basically just a computer architecture wise, if Sony has BC and XBox doesn't, then you guys would be like "who buy the beast to buy last gen games"
Exactly, what is so hard to understand? If you want to play PS3 games, play on your PS3. Nothing last forever, if you bought a book 20 years ago, and it is falling apart today, you don't get a new copy for free, either you laminate every single page or you just accept that you need to get a new copy.
And your PS5 can play PS4 games, so, what is there to complain?
Anything that XBox has but PS doesn't are extremely important, no matter what that is. /s
It would be good if my PS5 can play PS1-PS3 games, but it would also drive up the cost of the consoles, so basically 95% of the people are paying extra just because a small subset of gamers buy a PS5 to play 2+ older gens games. Able to play PS4 games are good enough for me, as I still have a few games that I haven't finished due to backlog.
In my 30+ years of gaming life, I have never once turned on my last gen console once I get the latest gen. If playing old games ar...
@Tacoboto
Call me selfish, but I care about my experience more than my friends who come visit once in a while.
@Servbot41
You are just here to say shit without any constructive feedback, don't even know why do you care if DS4 controllers work or not then.
@JustTheFax
Ya, I don't know how would that work because half press and full press do different things.
I agree, scalpers buy, and then they are sold asap, they wouldn't risk keeping them just to drive the price up, because the instant PS5 are back in stock, the PS5 they hold doesn't worth a cent more than retail price.
PS5 Controllers are required for PS5 games, the reason is, if developers can't assume all PS5 games have haptic feedback or adaptive triggers, they cannot they full advantage of the controller.
For example, in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, if you can play the game with the DS4, then most of your weapons would lost half of the functionalities, this is only possible when Sony said PS5 requires DualSense controllers. They take the stand to make sure their advanced feature...
Totally, underpowered the day it releases, never before seen.
Can't even run botw at 1080p docked.
