I like naughty dog, and the last of us 2, but I hope this is not true, don't need one, UNLESS it is free upgrade for current owner, too soon for a remaster.
I feel like they are doing this partly to go with the TV show, but still, can just promote the game again, don't need a new version.
Exactly
I think they should just treat that as part of the development and consider 2.0 as the actual launch.
Naughty dog, believe in you guys, it is ok to make mistake, just come back stronger than ever. You provided me things of amazing gaming experiences, Jak and Dexter, Uncharted and The Last of Us. I don't know why some gamers have to treat you guys like the enemies now, instead of giving the support that you guys need.
@sparky77
Really? "Mask remake/remaster as sequel"? I thought I have heard everything, but this is the stupidest thing I have heard in 2023.
I feel like the character is moving too fast that it doesn't feel like RoboCop, I know too slow would be annoying too, but it is so fast that it just feels like any other FPS games.
He sounded like they didn't have the resources as one of the largest publishers.
Xbots don't care, they just want more "free" games they never own in Gamepass, couldn't careless if the whole industry collapse.
I am glad yours doesn't as well.
@Obscure_Observer
You are a horrible gamer, MS buying up everything does no one any good, you guys would rather the whole industry collapse just so you can have a few extra games in Gamepass, disgusting.
@Obscure_Observer
Of course it is, of course, we know, we know every XBox games look better than every PS games, no doubt, you can rest now.
Gamepass effect, lower quality + more microtransactions, to cut cost and increase profit to make Gamepass sustainable.
Marvel Spiderman sold 33 millions copies, let's say half of those were full price purchase $69.99, and half of those people bought it cheap at half price.
16.5 millions x $70 = $1,155,000,000
16.5 millions x $35 = $577,500,000
$1,155,000,000 + $577,500,000 = $1,732,500,000
In conclusion, yes, Sony should put it on PS Plus day one, so they lose out 1.7 billions for no reason, very smart.

The sad truth is we rarely get a complete game in the disc nowaday, most games wouldn't work well if you don't download the day 1 patch, which more or less defeat the "preservation" purpose of physical.
@aaronaton for me, digital is half the price because I use the family share function with my brother who live at a different household. I used to do 100% physical too.
Not that I agree on all digital future, but it is not like you are saving any spaces for buying physical disc, you still need the exact same space to install the game.
Oh no, we get a sequel to a 8 years old highly praised co-op games, it is a trend now, PS is doomed.

Weaker AI, dumbed down system, 30fps, all design choices.
It is the human nature, which singer is better, which car manufacturer is better, which soccer team is better... some people just enjoy some forms of arguing, me included. Don't take it too seriously, say some shit here and there, then go back and play your favourite games, just don't go to the extreme of sending death threat.
Just from the look, I like the original one better.
Also now if you get the new model, and let's say you bought the Spiderman 2 plates, you can't re-use the plates, which is kinda lame.
But having more options is good.
