I actually prefer the Pro to looks 100% identical to the OG. So future special console plates will still be compatible.
That's the world for you right now, if it is not for you, it can't exists. Just like religions.
It is exactly how Sony described it, nothing less, nothing more.
So for, the biggest complains I heard are...
- Why is it not a PSP?
- Why is it not a PS Vita?
- Why is it not a Steamdeck?
- Why is it not a Switch?
- Why buy it when there is Backbone?
I know Steamdeck provides more value at double the price, but I don't game on PC and I don't play enough emulation, so why do I need to spend that extra $...

You know basic PS Plus is just Xbox live Gold subscription right? The trend started by Xbox to make people pays to play online. The one where eventually PS gamers get 3 decent games per month and Xbox gamers get 2 crap games per month, remember?
I know you are always trying to find an angle to make Xbox looks better, but you have to aim better. Find a different article, this is not the one. I will PM you when I see something that you can use.
@IamFrasierCrane
They already said new game plus and missions are coming post launch.
So tired of these fake concerns that is filling up 80% of the internet these days.
Unless you activate your drive 20 years from now, it is not any different than buying a console with disc drive right now.
Which is fine, I would much rather all gaming companies just focus on making good games.
Lazy remaster, the graphic is too old to just make a higher resolution one and call it a day.
Facts: 75% of Xbox gamers wouldn't know what current gen games look like. When they see their friends playing on ANY PS5, they would question why games on PS5 looks and runs so much better.
Slower machines always hold back the the industry in some way, imagine every PC gamers have 4090 and the latest CPU, you guys will see some crazy shit that would otherwise be impossible when developers have to optimize a game for millions of slower machine.
Oh no, and what if people only have $200 or $100? We need to make even weaker consoles. Oh wait, but what if people have only $50? We need one that can do 15fps at 240p. At the age of people spending way more on cellphones, this bullshit argument doesn't fly.
Sarcasm aside, this argument is only valid if the $400 PS5 doesn't sell.
Sorry, we are not talking about options here, but common sense.

Do you spend most of your day making up stories in your head to help you sleep better at night?
I bought backbone and preordered the Portal.
Backbone when I want to travel light, also works perfect for more simple games like Sea of Stars. And Portal when I want to enjoy some AAA games fully, mostly at home.
Why would people buy the digital version and then immediately buy the disc drive?
For me the biggest issue with doing ps remote on my phone is first the screen size, and second how easy it is to get interrupted, a phone call, a message, an alarm. Or when you want to look up some info for your game, you have to basically reconnect afterward. I don't get why it can keeps the connection at all, even if just you swap to another app for 2 seconds.
This could be the perfect product for me if it works well.
There are many choices now for PS remote play / mobile gaming.
- Initially clip my phone to a controller. While it works perfectly, the form is just uncomfortable, mostly the weight distribution, and the screen size (6.3 inches) is a bit too small for my old eyes.
- Then I bought a backbone, basically same functionality of clipping a phone on controller, but much more elegantly. Too bad doesn't solve the screen size issue.
- Steam deck OLED released, t...
I think game companies need to be more clear with their messages. Like if you have some creative way to use the AI, then give some examples if you don't want people to think they you are just being lazy and let AI create everything.
Same for PS Portal, make it more clear (although it is pretty clear to me) to gamers than it is an accessory to PS5, more like a controller with screen, then a steamdeck or Switch competitor. And why the play link earbud is much better than ...
Not necessarily live services but I had shit tons of fun with Sony first party MP, Uncharted 2/3/4 MP, Ghost's Legends, The last of us Faction...etc all very fun and enjoyable. So, hopefully they can find a good balance.
Very tempted.
I am also glad Sony make the accessibility controller because some people might needs it. Or should we complain because it is not for everyone? It is ridiculous.
