Not necessarily live services but I had shit tons of fun with Sony first party MP, Uncharted 2/3/4 MP, Ghost's Legends, The last of us Faction...etc all very fun and enjoyable. So, hopefully they can find a good balance.
Very tempted.
Ever heard of "No changes for 50 years" or "one country two systems"?
Hopefully they learned making solid games with no BS live service or microtransactions is still a valid business model.
That's the biggest downside of these consolidation, they buy you out just for your IPs and eliminating competitions, and when the board not getting enough bonus, they throw you out like garbage.
MS is taking too long to make a good game.
They're too busy making shit acquisitions to even bother with managing their existing studios. Then later, they'll go out crying that they are the underdog in the industry and continue to pays billions like it is nothing to buy up the rest of the industry.
When China took Hong Kong back, they said HK would be independent too.
@shinoff2183
I think I played about 400 hours on PS3 version, and another 300 on the PS4 remaster.
Yes, the original faction was so good, I had 700 hours on it.
I honestly feel like MS got scammed, paying $70b for these craps.
They were just being used as free beta testers, now that it is running fine, MS no longer benefits from giving it to them for free, and of course need money to cover the $70 billions.
But it is not for the handheld market, it was marketed for you to play your PS5 in another room, or when someone using the TV. Why is it all of a sudden a competitor to steam deck and switch?
I understand while that is cool to have, I always jump in a game within a few seconds or not even if the game was in rest mode, I barely see anything on my home screen. It is super low on my wish list.
Nice
AFTER they announced they are stopping to support it.
The problem with Dreams is... they didn't promote it enough, update it for PS5, give it out for free on PS Plus for PS5 and PS Plus for a month, ask some YouTubers to create their own games on it, and it should starts to get popular.
I have encountered a few bugs, all tiny one, usually just an enemy or two got stuck in an encounter, which I can easily find with the radar, and unstuck in like 5 seconds.
Subscription model means people move on quickly, since they didn't pay for the games, no need to give it another try to get their money worth.
Forbes: "The game is good, but we got a cheque to remind you that it is not perfect, so please focus on the flaw and ruin your experiences please"
I think game companies need to be more clear with their messages. Like if you have some creative way to use the AI, then give some examples if you don't want people to think they you are just being lazy and let AI create everything.
Same for PS Portal, make it more clear (although it is pretty clear to me) to gamers than it is an accessory to PS5, more like a controller with screen, then a steamdeck or Switch competitor. And why the play link earbud is much better than ...
