I wanted to jump in Destiny 2 again before but in entry cost to too high. All expansions + 3 players squad only made it impossible for my group to join.
As much as I like Sony, I prefer more options on the market, I genuinely want XBox to do well as soon as they remember what it takes to make good games. But it seems like now it is all about what makes the most money, and less about what the gamers want. That's why they don't believe in exclusives, they don't take risk in VR, buying competitions instead of building their own games.

It was never cool to hate Xbox, I have XBox Series X and GamePass, I just wish they make higher quality games. Their games quality made me regret my purchases.
I have both a phone clip, backbone, and portal. And Portal by FAR the better experience, while it doesn't occupy my phone the whole time.
Almost finished Sea of Stars with it. Haven't suffered any glitches, I just know I get to play a lot more games now, in a decent sized screen with no compromise on controller.

But it is not a limitation, it is a streaming device, this is the best way to play your PS5 remotely. It is NOT a PSP or PS Vita successor.
And I wouldn't say it is 100x better if you can download, because it is not possible to have ps5 power in a handheld, and my PS Portal experience so far is perfect, never experienced any lag or delay.
Nothing hard to understand, after launch, you would know if your game has flopped, then you know if you have budget to create these stuff.

I too thought PS Portal is pointless at one point. But after using it for a few days, I simply play it MUCH more than any other solutions.
Compare to Backbone, I don't have to connect the attachment, start the app, and at the same time, using a smaller screen, less comfortable controller, and occupy my phone the whole time. With backbone, I wouldn't bother with any fast pace action games or FPS.
Compare to iPad/Laptop + DualSense, I don't need...
