It is impossible, XBox aren't doing well, so PS is doomed as well, it has to be, consoles are done. /s
It is just not a good game, period.
They could have done so much more in terms of combat and puzzle solving, but they spent their time on visual, that means they have no clue how to combine good story with great gameplay.
The Last of Us is a good example, it has a lot of story, decent amount of walking, and many quiet moment, but there also a lot of combat and replay values, and the game's length is 15-22 hours, which is much more reasonable.
It is like saying... "It is pointless to upgrade your PC's graphic card."
No all companies milk a franchise until they are not even relevant.
What about get me excited with improved stealth mechanics and combat system instead?
Sums up people nowaday, they complain if you releasing stuff without enough testing and then they get mad if you take your time to test.
Humans = complain/argue for about everything.
Precision Strike is better. Much faster cooldown, and hit quite hard if you use it right.
More projects in the work also means a lot of upcoming costs to keep the company running. If MS not happy with Hellblade 2 performances, it can be cut.
Of course I want them to survive, but be honest to yourself, a short single player game is not making MS any money, especially it is day one on gamepass as well.
I am still having so much fun with it, the gameplay is good and that's all that matters.
I have unlocked every singles items in the game (other than the super credits armor, which are not needed), including everything from the main + 4 extra warbonds, and still playing it daily just to have fun.
CFO: "This is a problem Phil, we can't sustain by giving all new games day 1, why did you promise gamers that?"
Phil: "Well, I never said which tier."
I want to be optimistic... But seeing how they support PSVR2... I am incredibly doubtful now :(
I think the only type of games that can gets away with it would be sport games, having those sponsors ads on the side like on real life.
But don't put freaking Doritos ads in Star Wars or something, it breaks the immersion. If it is a pop-up ads, then big no.
I love all these new leadership changes, having people from these studios mean they understand how game dev works, and hopefully that translates to more quality games output.
Guys, be reasonable, how else can it prompt you with ads? /s
And that's the problem of GamePass.
Legends mode is hella fun, don't miss it.
They never learn.
The problem is not just live service, but "lazy" live service. People are so fed up with battle passes now, locking stuff behind paywall with a time constraint, giving gamers the false urgency that they either pay now or lose access to them forever. Then people pay because they don't want to miss out, not because it enhances their experience in any way.
Not to be mean, but if in Helldivers you feel like you are just piggy backing off your friends, then maybe learn and see what they are doing. There are also people who solo the highest difficulty as well, it is very likely you are doing something wrong, or the difficulty is just not for you.
You can complete any missions with just the starter weapons and stratagems, the new warbonds weapons are nothing special that you need to be able to do well.
Can't wait... I also want another VR one too though... my PSVR2 needs some actions -_-
